I know we have some YC issues, but I really don't like this lineup a whole lot, if this is what it turns out to be...this ain't Cuba were playing. Oh, well...the Revs fans will be happy.

I like it because winning is secondary to giving some players with potential 2 to 3 games to show make their case. These guys are:
(1) Olsen, Armas, and Sanneh for the tune of "what have you done for me lately?" with possible contributions to WCQ and/or finals.
(2) Then you have the "with a little more experience can you cut it?" guys Noonan and Conrad.
(3) The fillers are Keller, Cherundulo and Heydude.
(4) "Needs playing time" is O'Brien

Vanney should probably be in category 1 but some may put him as a filler.

Ralston and Dempsey are kinda the advanced class of category 2 and the freshman class of category 4. They have earned at least bench spots for WCQ.

We're already through to the next round, so rest those who'll get significant minutes in the next game, and try something new. Sanneh showed he isn't solid outside in a 3-man line, so moving him in makes sense. Conrad has earned another look, so good for him. He's playing well.

Let's see what JOB can do in joining the attack, and with Noonan, Ralston, and Dempsey in the attack, the New England fans should be pleased. They're comfortable with each other, but it's going to be painful for Twellman to watch this one....

You can tell a lot about our lineup by examening each picture in the starting lineup.

They could only find pictures of Conrad and Olsen in practice gear.
They could only find a picture of JOB with the 2002 uniform on.

Go figure.

Or even 4-3-3 with Ralston pushing up? One thing's for sure: we're playing a lot of non-traditional formations lately that are sort of "tweener" lineups that can be one thing or another.
