Here's a piece on Marshall in from the Houston Chronicle's coverage of the Gold Cup:

Thanks for the find.
I found this a bit interesting --
Marshall said the speed of the MLS game has helped prepare him for international play.
"Sometimes, at the international level you have more space and more time to play," he said. "It's a little easier for me to have more time with the ball at the international level because of the change of speed of the game."
It sounds like he finds MLS speed of play faster at times than some of the international play he has experienced. Of course, his experience is probably primarily CONCACAF, but it gives a little creedence to MLS. I watched one of the Gold Cup games last week (Honduras/T&T, I think?) and I was thinking the same thing.

Also, I'm sure most folks here probably pick up an on-line stream from Jamaica, but just in case you need an English-language feed of the Mexico v Jamaica game, a local Houston sports radio station will carry the game:
WEDNESDAY
9:15 p.m. [central time] - GOLD CUP SOCCER: Mexico vs. Jamaica
The station streams on-line and you can click on the Listen Live button (http://www.790kbme.com) on their page.
