I've only heard a little bit of his music, and i'm not a fan. I kinda think of him as the Australian Lenny Kravitz.
Yeah...maybe if he were australian. He's from Claremont. The only thing (IMO) that they have in common is they play rock and roll, are black, and date hot white chicks. BH is a much better songwriter than LK. However, I can see how some people might not connect with Ben.

I am watchin' Family Guy and playing guitar (notice i went with the standard "f" instead of "ph"). What shoud you be studying? And what are you distracting yourself with?

Really? Maybe i had him confused with Ben Lee, another over hyped "Critics Favorite". I rarely agree with music critics, it seems every music mag gives every album 3 and a half to 4 stars every time, its BS. If i never read another article about the genius of Beck and Prince, etc. it will be too soon. Anywho, Lenny Kravitz sucks and is the phoniest act i can think of, but maybe thats because i remember when he was a Prince impersonator calling himself "Romeo Blue". And Laura Dern isn't hot anymore, no offense GP. I just like my music with a little more emotional intensity.

FYI, I am new to the "music critic game"-I was always too stubborn to check out new bands-so I hear what you are saying. Ben Lee doesn't do too much for me. "I just like my music with a little more emotional intensity." All the more reason to get into BH. if you have a chance, check out "Fight For Your Mind" and/or "Welcome To The Cruel World" - his 2 best albums and VERY moving emotionally.

Man I am so tired of looking at this shite. It's driving me nuts! But I've recharged with a margarita and I'm set for an all-nighter.
Worker's compensation and family law...so if you could fall at work tomorrow while marrying and annulling said marriage to some woman that you may or may not have knocked up, I'd appreciate it. I could definitely use the practice. :)

Hey if the test was in proofreading, I would ALWAYS get an A+. I find mistakes in the textbook all the time. Once I had a professor that wrote the textbook. It was in like the 5th edition or something. Once the semester got to a close, I took my textbook to him and said I know you are working on the next edition and I just thought you may want to note some errors that your publisher missed. LOL Can you tell I'm terribly anal?
