OK. We should have 9 threads in the OT forum. There are 21 (however 3 are threads that I posted to tell people threads had been moved), so we have twice what we should have. I'm modding the Politics board now, and Rick has ALL the England boards. The reason for one off topic thread is so that things are kept nice and neat and these things don't get "invaded", leaving Rick and myself that much more to do on a board that shouldn't need any moderation.
We started this forum to move the OT threads off the main board. Please work with us here..

the Chivas v Real Madrid game yesterday was awesome. Lots of people there, not a sell out though. 1st half was boring, 2nd half rocked.

Greetings, nudists.
I have reason to believe that it may be a real long night tonight. And every night thereafter.

You've never heard of Ben Harper! He's famous for being Laura Dern's boyfriend/baby-daddy, you know Laura Dern... she was the blind girl in "Mask". ;)

I haven't really seen a lot of movies with Dern but I loved her in Wild at Heart. An absolutely brilliant movie. However if your claim to fame is being "Dern's boyfriend/baby-daddy" then you don't really have a lot going for you, do you?

I've only heard a little bit of his music, and i'm not a fan. I kinda think of him as the Australian Lenny Kravitz.

Ahhh...nothing like a typhoon to get you a free day off from work. Although the building swaying like a boat is a bit disconcerting...

Honestly, they're not too bad here. We have the mountains to protect us from the worst of it. I actually went for a walk in one last year (I REALLY wanted pancakes from McDonald's) and it wasn't too bad. However, I did make sure to stock up on plenty of instant noodles and pancake mix this time!
