Completely unrelated: thanks for your message, and as you can see I am still alive. :) Tried to answer your pm but your inbox was full. Close call though, I passed Kings X half an hour after the bomb went off, and the bus exploded 500m from my office.
Ok sorry back to the DFB Pokal....

We will return to Dortmund with a ticket to round 2 and young defender Amedick! :-D

Hmm..where are Hertha Amateurs, they retained Regionalliga status, but they are not in German Cup? What are the requirements for a club to be in the Pokal?
Alex_K

Regionalliga clubs aren't qualified automatically - Hertha II/Amateurs (the DFB has officialy replaced "Amateure" by "II" as the addition to the names of the reserve teams for whatever reason) need to qualify by winning the Berlin state cup. I posted something about this in the German NSR thread some time ago, if you want a more detailled list of the qualification requirements.

Btw, is (Amedick) he any good?
I'd say he must be. They certainly told us to "F#ck Off" to hold on to him.

Next year he is a free agent. So if Wörns leaves us (that could actually happen) we have at least another back-up or even starter. Depends on how good he really is.

I've read about Woerns. He wants to win something, or he'll probably leave. Not much we can do about that. We'll just have to hope Brzenska can do the job or if this kid isn't good enough, that we can bring someone else in.
You know I love Christian Woerns, but we won't fall apart if he leaves.
Not if CMetz begins to play like he did before his injury........

Our GM wasn't really happy about a 500k offer - make your own conclusions.
Well, he is.
