I was recently at my local retailer and he had the new product book. I was looking in it and found the new Adidas classic esque boot, similar to the Copa, but with new technology. This is similar to Nike ane the Legend. I can't remember the name of the boot, but it was odd. Nothing but numbers and letters. It looks like it could be a quality boot and it availabe in black w/ white and white w/ black. just wondering if anyone had any info on them. I was rather happy that Adidas is comming out with a classic boot with travion blades. Thats the only thing i dont like with the mundials. the round studs. anyway, cheers!

I like them but they will probably be really expensive.

Dont quote me on this, but I believe I read elsewhere that the release date is around November/December of this year.

As for price's I also believe they are not going to be as expensive as the Predator Range. Maybe similar to the Aviero in price range? £80- £90

They are a December release and they will be $110-$120 for FG and $125-130 for SG according to the adidas catalog. There is also and A3 turf version of the shoe that will be launched.

The Aviero will still be around in a very sweet looking black and white model but it will be UTL-K leather

Im not sure wether this has already been said but, i over heard somebody talking at a local sports shop of mine and it was said that the reason for the boot being named The Adidas 7406 is because players will be wearing the boot for the first time on the opening day of the World Cup. The opening day of the World Cup is the 7th of the 4th 06 (7406) hence the name of the boot. I am not sure wether this is a true statement i just over heard it.
Any of you guys know any different??

It says on the third link up top that the 7406 is b/c of the combined classic design of 1974 and the technology of 2006, lsat diggets, hence 74 & 06, so 7406...

ur right too, i re-read the passage, the 7406 stands for the 1974 world cup in germany, and the 2006 world cup in germany; and for the classics design inspired in 1974 mixed with the new technology and inovations of 2006...
