Yea, we talked about this a little bit before. In order for him to be sold, we'd probably have to be offered double what he's worth, and I think he'd probably only think about it if the offer was from a true top level club.

Gomis rumors are starting up again. I think Sunderland would probably have to go ahead and pay for Cisse for it to get done, though.

Gael Givet refused an offere from St. Etienne because his wages would have been reduced. Remember he refused Panathinakos also. This guy sure loves his money.

Onyewu or Van Buyten would be good signings and both have Belgian connections which is probably why Gerets would take them.

Ha, we're supposedly interested in Henrik Larsson. On the one hand, it would be pretty cool if he played for us (I always liked him). On the other hand, he's something like 37 YO and has been playing (well, it must be said) in Sweden for the last couple seasons.
George Weah signed for us near the end of his career, when he was 34 or so, and scored 5 goals in 19 appearances.

^He's exactly the type of player they need. Lukas Podolski mentioned OM in an interview but I doubt that would happen. They should get Van Buyten from that team.

Yes, I was quite gleeful when I found out he acknowledged us. That would be awesome. Spend the money, Dreyfus. We were linked to Liedson today, and that wouldn't be bad either. But Podolski would be brilliant.
Onyewu is a good signing, I'm pretty happy with it. Zubar's actually done well lately, but that won't last.

Oh, we were linked to Savidan, too. I wouldn't mind it, but Caen will make us pay more than he's worth. He'd definitely be better than nothing, but I hope they really try for Podolski/Liedson/others before Savidan.

Ha. Actually, if we get Podolski/someone besides Savidan, I'd love to see us get Pagis, too. But that won't happen. And he won't want to come back and sit on the bench, anyway. Not with Rennes doing so well.

Savidan isnt coming Diouf said. Podolski will be expensive plus he probably wont want to come to France. Should have kept Cisse and you wouldnt be having this problem.

Larsson would be great, though I'm a little afraid of his age. Even for an Inzaghi-like killer, 37 is not young.
At least he would have his motto already: "Henrik Larsson ne craint personne" ! :D

cisse was our best striker, we got him for cheap, solid attacker in team like OM, not zlatan or eto'o talent but in OM he would have flourished with team built around him provided he has great midfielder to supply with the ball.
