In one or two years*, Cana will sign with Arsenal, Bayern, AS Roma, Real Madrid or so for 20-25M. :)
*He would have then lasted long for 4 or 5 years in the same club. I think that's the better thing a footballer should do.
if Arsenal sign him, it will be now for a cheaper price, not in 1 or 2 years for a much bigger price. after all we need a player in that position right now, so I expect we will find someone for ~10 million euros at around 24-25 years old, someone like Cana (not saying we are interested in him specifically!).
speaking of Arsenal, Nasri is having his medical today...

is Djibril Cissé still thinking of living L'om and go for mediecro team in england because gomis took his euro spot:mad:

It has nothing to do with Gomis taking his spot , it has to do with him having a home in Britain and his wife being from there and his rocky relationship with the OM supporters.

Very nice to wake up, check om.net, and see that it's official. It's seemed likely for a few days now, but you never know until it's official.
This Eto'o thing is...interesting. Something came up about him a little while ago, but it was dismissed as silly transfer fiction. It might still be, but eurosport seems like a decent source (I'm not actually sure if it is, though). If Cisse goes, the rumor does seem somewhat plausible, assuming Eto'o is actually interested in coming (which is a big assumption). Cisse is the highest earner, and the amount he'd likely be sold for is just under the estimated cost of Eto'o. We'll see what happens, I guess.
Oh, I guess it hasn't been mentioned that Carrasso went to Toulouse. We got Rudy Riou and 2.5 million € in exchange.

Well today Diouf did mention Cisse and he said he didnt come to him saying he wants to leave nor has he received any offers for him. Then he said again that its not the players who decide things like this.
So right now it looks good if you want him to stay unless Cisse and his agent are being sneaky and plotting something behind everyones back. Why would Cisse not tell Diouf if he really wanted to leave ? I believe that if he wanted to leave he would have to have told his boss by now.

I agree. I think there is a decent chance that Cisse probably isn't thrilled with the clubs that are reportedly interested in him. He was at training today.

A Cissé - Eto'o duo would be fantastic.

There was a rumor some years ago reporting that Eto'o was offered to l'OM but Bouchet refused the offer. I don't know if that's true or not, though. Anyway, it doesn't seem realistic to think about him joining l'OM now. His wage is too high for a french club.
Diouf is doing a good job during this transfer window. It's been a long while that we haven't seen a french club trying to sign one of the most talented player Lyon have.

I agree that this transfer window has been good so far, and if a couple more players can be added without suffering any huge departures, it will be considered very successful.

good that he moved to a club like L'om, hopefully he will be given a lot of playtime so that he can become world class player, something he lacked at lyon.
i have good feeling ben arfa will be successfull at L'om than nasri was

Dont really need Eto'o. Cisse, Niang, Kone will score enough goals. A Cissé - Eto'o duo wouldnt happen anyway due to the huge wages of both players. Sign Bakary Kone and then start signing some more defensive minded players.

I could counter that by saying that if Nasri had stayed then they wouldnt have needed Ben Arfa and they instead could have spent the money on more important areas that needed strengthening like the defense. They might have just blown a huge chunk of their transfer budget on a guy who's replacing another guy who left. Thus I think they'd be better off if Nasri had stayed.
If they didnt need to replace Nasri could they have gotten a much better and thus more expensive CB than Hilton ? Hmmmm.

I doubt they could have gotten anyone that much better than Hilton, but maybe I rate him more highly than you. It probably would have been either a risky foreign signing or a guy like Basa, who I do think is better but for a long time looked like he was going to Borussia Dortmund. I think Taiwo-Hilton-Defender X-Bonnart will probably be pretty good. The main point of concern is who will be next to Hilton; one of Rodriguez, Givet, and Erbati. I guess Diouf and Gerets are betting on one of them being able to perform well. As far as DM, I'd like to see Mavuba come and it was him in addition to attacker that I had mind when I said I'd like to see a couple more signings. And if Eto'o is actually interetsted, which is a big if, I don't think you can turn him down. He scored 15 in 17 matches last year for Barca in the league, and he's only 27. The main question for him has been injuries over the last couple seasons, and now Guardiola has decided he doesn't want him.

With Kone, I read that Nice is asking for 12 M and OM are only willing to pay 9 M so I guess that Nice's asking price will have to come down if the player refuses to stay there.
I dont know whats going on with Kim.
As for a DM to replace M'Bami, maybe they go foreign there if Mavuba falls through.
I'd still like to know whats going on with Ziani. A Kim/Ziani exchange made sense but if Ziani stays he can contribute.
I saw Diouf's interview on mercato365 and he said ben arfa was bought for 15m.

Supposedly there is no longer much of a chance that Kim comes; they rate Kone more highly (the last thing I saw was that Kim may go to a Qatari club, no joke). I haven't heard anything about Ziani in a while either. I'd guess he's probably still going to go if there are teams interested.
Kone seems to have made OM his priority, so that may force Nice to compromise. I'd guess it will probably end up something like 9/10 million with potential bonuses.

I think we could search a Right DF instead of another DF.
I like Bonnart, but I don't think he's a very good player if OM wants to win a Ligue 1 and advance a bit more at UCL.
Erbati and Givet still fine for me.
Oh yeah, and try to get some one to help Ben Arfa, please.Giving the whole work to him is the same to burn him...Cana,Cheyrou,Ben Arfa and who?Ziani?
