A pedophile is terrorizing London for years now and never did Interpol a single move !! :mad:that's why samir's trying to grow a beard!

If they bring in Gomis and Ben Arfa to replace Cisse and Nasri then that isnt too bad but it would hurt their title chances IMO. They'd have to try and build chemistry all over again. These teams cant keep their best players and have to start over again and that kills them. Thats why losing Cisse would hurt bad. Maybe Gomis would score more goals but its not worth the risk especially at such a high price tag. Go with what you know you are getting.
I'm still not convinced Cisse is leaving. I know some greedy Arsenal fans think they are getting both Nasri and Ben Arfa and it could happen but Diouf is already recruiting Ben Arfa hard to fill in for Nasri.

Oh and Akale and MBami wont be back I read.

as far as samir is concerned though, he had the mike in his face at halftime, and said this was probably (maybe he even said certainly, i can't 100% remember) his last match in the vélodrome. if he hadn't just signed an expension you could interpret that as bargaining talk, but as it is, it looks pretty clear he's the young french international arsène's been on about, not HBA.

He said that his was an important goal, especially as it may be his last game at the Vélodrome. I'm pretty sure he's gone, and I'm coming to terms with it. But I'll be upset if Cissé leaves. Constantly reconstructing the team isn't the way to attempt to make a run at the title, even if Bafé is a good young player.

I forget what the fee for Akale was set at, but I'd like to keep him around. He's pretty good, and willing to come off the bench. I'd like M'Bami to stay too, but if Cana moves back to midfield he'd probably have to come off the bench most of the time. I'm not sure he'd be willing to if there is the possibility of starting at someplace like Everton.

Yeah this team is constantly reshuffling players in and out each year which is why they dont win. I dont get why Nasri wouldnt why to try to bring a championship to his hometown team which hasnt won in 15 years !. He'd be called a god if they won it next year. I dont understand that kid. He doesnt seem to have the mentality you would want in a player. What does it really say when Cana loves the club more than he does.

If what im reading is true and Nasri is out and is a sure thing, why doesnt Marseille go after top players? I mean they have the money. They got money from Ribery's deal and im sure Nasri wont go for a penny. Im not saying to go after superstars like Ronaldinho Ibra kaka etc just solid players that will make them hard to beat. I am glad that Lorik Cana is staying at Marseille even after top European clubs behind his footsteps. In an interview for an Albanian newspaper he criticised the management of not doing enough to make the team solid and said that many players could leave if they failed to do so. I hope Marseille ownership and management get it together.

I hope that for 18M euros, getting a Pablo Aimar or so is still possible today...

Cisse and Niang will be suspened for a Champions League qualifier match. That will be huge and it could cost them.

Also Gomis was declared 'untransferable' by his team which probably means he ain't coming to OM since only foreign clubs will probably be able to afford the transfer fee now. Another sign that Cisse stays I guess.

The transfer fee listed there is slightly lower than was expected, which is kind of disappointing. Ah well....good luck to him, I suppose. I wish he would have stayed, but it was up to him and he obviously wanted to leave.

We'll see what happens as far as replacing him. Ben Arfa on the wing and Valbuena moving to Nasri's spot is a possibility. Gourcuff maybe, Aimar would be great if he's interested. The sooner it all gets sorted out the better.

Well I still dont understand why you wouldnt want to try to help you hometown team win a title for the first time in over 15 years. Even more weird is that he just signed a 4 year extension last week. I know Arsenal and the EPL are tough to turn down but how about actually leaving until AFTER business is finished and go out on a high note. He chose not to do that and thats why I dont respect him.

There is a rule that would have allowed him to go cheaply because he just had one year on his contract. I think he would have just had to buy out his contract, so they had him sign a new deal so they could get a decent fee.

You really think Anigo and Diouf will use that money wisely ? Being a fan of this team must be like banging your head against the wall.

I'm hoping Gerets is involved enough where he doesn't allow them to completely mess it up. Or that they get lucky....one of the two.

You seem like a very calm and positive guy. Thats cool I guess. If I was a die hard OM supporter I'd be going ballistic. If Cisse left too I think I'd be on suicide watch. :)

Well it's evident that we weren't going to keep hold of him forever. Good luck to him though. If there's one club I wanted him to go to, it's Arsenal. They play fantastic football and I'm sure he'll fit in nicely. Gutted that he's left, and it's the same feeling when Ribery left.

Well let's see what Diouf can do this summer. Ben Arfa would definitely be a good start, but I don't see Aulas selling him to us sadly.

I'd prepared myself for this one, so at least it wasn't a surprise. I'll definitely be upset if an adequate replacement doesn't come in, but at least some of the rumors going around right now would be nice if they actually happened, and so I'll wait to see what happens.

Speculation is rampant on omplanete right now over why it was 15 million instead of the reported 17.8 million which was put in his contract. The possibility of a player coming from Arsenal has been brought up, as well as Arsenal possibly agreeing not to go after Ben Arfa in order to allow us to possibly get him. Just speculation, though, and its unlikely any of it is true.

Oh I could see that being true. Unlikely maybe but it does seem to make some sense.

he signed the extension solely so OM could get more money... he did not have to do that... I guess you could not respect him for wanting to win the Ligue 1 title... but the fact that he could have said F OM, and left for cheap this summer... but instead signed the deal to leave for more means he should be looked at more positively, imo

The deal isnt even finalised yet....

However Nasri's agent Bernes said: "No agreement has been finalised though it's true we are looking into a bid by Arsenal which interests Nasri in sporting terms, but it's also true that other offers have arrived in my office."

this seems kinda far from us getting him actually....

Well someone's gonna get him because I don't think OM wants him back at this point.
