Mercato: José Anigo reveals all
Just a few days before the start of the winter break and the opening of the January transfer window, the OM sporting director reveals all on the possible comings and goings.

http://s.om.net/om/image/article/illustration/7/1261.jpg
The January transfer window
We don't have a lot of space to move in. Financially we're still in difficulty in terms of buying, which probably won't be the case come June, but for now, we'll have to register some departures in order to buy. We have several possibilities, Maxi Lopez and Di Vaio are two we're working on.

Arrivals
We haven't done anything about signing Cisse and we're at the same point with both Maxi Lopez and Di Vaio. Standing between Cisse and Marseille is Liverpool and we haven't really negotiated with them. That's why it hasn't got anywhere. We're a long way off but sometimes the toughest transfers happen quickest. We'll do everything to bring in a really top class player, but it doesn't all depend on us, we need to sell.

Departures
There are clubs asking about some of our players. A lad like Meite has had offers from England and Spain, but he's not the only one, it's the same for all the players that aren't currently first choice. Some have also asked to leave. The player has to want to join the club that's contacted him and the club also has to meet the demands.
We need at least three departures in order to get the money to concentrate on new signings. There are definately transfer possibilities. We're considering the offers coming in, concerning the players that aren't playing. Our job is to pass the information onto the player and his agent.

Ribéry is not for sale
Frank Ribéry is categorically not for sale. Not now, not in June and if it happens one day it will happen against my wishes. If you want a good teamyou can't sell you best players. If we let him go, that means that OM doesn't want to have a great team and I would understand the fans anger. For me, Franck is 'unsellable' foir January and June. In a year and a half it might be different. We have to count on Franck if we want to have a great team in two years time.

Guys,

See what stupid Anigo is also suggesting: Middlesbrough striker Szilard Nemeth (Slovakian international)

Sky Sports (http://home.skysports.com/list.asp?hlid=346737&CPID=24&clid=&lid=11&title=L'OM+look+at+Nemeth)

Focus on these sentences to see how stupid our sporting director is.

A surprise name on the list, though, is Slovakia international Nemeth, who is out of contract at The Riverside at the end of the season.

Nemeth has never established himself as a regular with Boro during over four years at the club, but recently impressed l'OM's sporting director Jose Anigo on international duty.

He's looking for a player who failed to establish himself over four years just because he impressed Anigo at one or two matches with his national team.

Anigo is going to kill me. He only get impressed by bad and out of favor players!!

The only good think about that move for me, is that it will mean Andrey Karyaka will become redunant and will be fast winging his way back to Russia in a Loko jersey.

Tireless Bonnissel
Without a club since 2004, the former Bordeaux full-back is bringing all his experience to Olympique de Marseille. Find out more about the man they called the ‘Bordeaux Scooter’...

http://s.om.net/om/image/article/illustration/7/1389.jpg

Jean Fernandez said it himself:”Jérôme is a player full of experience and quality. Physically he’s in great shape and he won me over.” Still as active as ever on the pitch, despite his 32 years of age, the former Bordeaux full-back won OM over with his energy, his tenacity and his vision. The man we used to call the ‘Bordeaux Scooter’ began his career in his birth town of Montpellier. After four season’s in Louis Nicollin’s club, Jérôme Bonnissel attracted the interest of France’s big clubs. But his future was to lie in Spain where he joined Deportivo La Coruna (1996-1999). His three years were highlighted by some clashes with his coach, but that couldn’t prevent him being named Le Liga’s second best full-back in 1997-98, after Roberto Carlos!

At the end of his final season, spent on the bench, his departure was inevitable. Suddenly everything took off. Roger Lemerre, who was coach of France gave him his chance. A few months later he signed for Girondins de Bordeaux and he played in the 1999-2000 Champions League. His return to top flight French football was hampered by injury and in January 2003 he joined Glasgow Rangers and then Fulham the following year (2003-04). Today, OM have thrown down his latest challenge: win over the Marseille public.

Maoulida: "The dream has become the reality"
Toifilou Maoulida has been loaned to OM, by Monaco, with an option to buy, until the end of the season. Having grown up in Marseille, he now joins the club of his youth. He used to “dream of everything OM” he revealed in his first interview.

http://s.om.net/om/image/article/illustration/7/1397.jpg

OM is active in the transfer market. After announcing the arrival of Bonnissel on Friday morning, the club also secured the services of Toifilou Maoulida on loand from Monaco until the end of the seasn, with an option to buy. A transfer so well handled that the player still played on Thursday for the principality.”It’s true that it all happened pretty quickly,” he admitted while signing his contract. “Last night I played with Monaco against Auxerre.”. Maoulida didn’t see enough playing time at the start of this season with Monaco and OM’s offer came as a God send for this local boy. ”Being from Marseille, I’m delighted to be joining the club,” he explained. This native of Mayotte moved to Marseille at a very young age and he took his first steps in the world of football at Montredon and Michelis. “I’ve got a lot of family and friends here. Every kid from marseille dreams of playing for OM and today, that dream has become the reality, but it’s only the beginning and from Sunday, it starts on the pitch.”.

Toifilou isn’t arriving in hostile territory either as he teams reacquaints himself with Mamadou Niang. ”I know him personally, outside of football and I like him a lot,” he said. “It would be great to play up front with him, but the most important thing is that the team wins.” After a brief sojourn on the Cote d’Azur, he now joins Marseille until the end of the season with the option to buy. A sojourn at ASM inwhich he tasted and scored in the UEFA Cup, which will deny the pleasure with OM.

There's not money to buy anyone good. Better to buy Maoulida and keep Ribery and Nasri than to sell those guys and then buy somebody like Cisse.
