Soccernet says it too.

OM are very very lucky because he could have gotten more money elsewhere but he wanted OM. Finally a player who didnt go somewhere just for the money. He should be commended.

That lineup isnt good enough to challenge Lyon. Need more improvements. Giuly and Wiltord.

we might get one of them but both seems difficult fmpov.
wiltord has its chance since we have just sold Pagis to rennes.

If Cisse plays to his full potential then they just might. But I agree that one of those 2 players would help their cause. And I have no problem letting Wiltord go to OM. A little competition in L1 would be good for everybody.

I like the top lineup if you put Ziani in for Zenden. I never liked Zenden as a Chelsea player, so he's got some work to do if he's going to impress me this time.

He's a player who's always showed enough promise to get deals at big clubs like Barcelona, Chelsea, and Liverpool, but has never done enough to make a real impact at any of those places.

Another attacker has to be signed due to Pagis's departure, no ?

yeah for sure man. If OM go into the season without buying another striker it is pure madness!

Lyon are so sneaky!

The president of the OM affirms that if the file of Djibril Cissé trailed in length, it is in particular because of a certain interest of the expensive club with Jean-Michel Aulas. “Whereas we carry out the negotiations with Liverpool for Cissé, Rick Parry said to me that Lyon had forwarded to him a proposal. Wasn't this right to complicate us the life? ”, Diouf concludes which A all the same makes a success of perfectly its blow while finally making sign Cissé and Zenden " It is of good war and Lyon also seeks an attacker, what could be more normal than it gets information about Djibril…. me that does not shock me.

Care to post this in the original French or provide a link? I'll translate if you do.

Still no replacement for Pagis in sight. Not gonna give Cisse any help are we ? Gonna make him do it all by himself, eh ? Come on Dreyfuss you cheap bastard. :)

Niang can play up top if necessary and since Zenden is here, I don't think he'll spend as much time on the left as he did last season.

So that's Niang and Cisse, with Bamogo as a replacement. Hardly the front line to challenge Lyon.

Well, Bamogo left for Nice, but yeah, not exactly an earth-shattering attacker combination. Then again, I'm assuming given the roster OM has that they'll play a 4-5-1, 4-2-3-1 or similar with Nasri in the "Zidane" role, with Cissé alone up front.
