I dont care if they sign Ziani, if they lose Cisse this offseason will be a failure. I'm glad Liverpool refused them for a loan. If they dont wanna pay the cash then teams like Atletico Madrid and Bolton will. Pay up or go home !!!! Dreyfuss must go into his back pocket for this one or endure the wrath of the fans. Losing both Ribery AND Cisse would be unexceptable to me if I was a OM supporter. If you spend 8 mill on Ziani then you can afford 9-10 mill for Cisse. This is the same club who spent 10+ mill on Peguy Luyindula and Cisse is a much better striker than that turd.

Onyewu didn't play very well at Newcastle and had a very poor Gold Cup. I'm a US fan, but he's just not ready for a club like OM right now.

OM: the Castroman track always of topicality? (02/07/2007)
The Marseilles leaders would still not have given up the track carrying out to the offensive medium Argentinian Lucas Castroman (26 years) if one believes the Team of it. The player of Velez Sarsfield would have refused to sign in favour of America Mexico City (Mexico) and would make OM his priority, as well as Atletico Madrid and the FC Seville. Passed by Lazio Rome and Udinese, Castroman would cost 4 million euros the club phocéen. Business to be followed... (By Romain Degrange)

OM: the track Wiltord (02/07/2007)
Vis-a-vis with the slowness of the negotiations concerning the file Ludovic Giuly (30 years, 27 meetings in Liga this season, 3 goals), the Olympic one of Marseilles could lean well on the track of the attacker of the Olympic Lyonese Sylvain Wiltord (33 years, 22 meetings in L1 this season, 5 goals). According to the Team, the club phocéen would think of international French to replace Franck Ribéry left in Bayern Munich. To follow. (By Alexis Pereira)

OM: Pagis towards Rennes? (02/07/2007)
After the imposing offensive recruitment of Olympic of Marseilles, certain players could leave Canebière. According to the Team, the attacker Mickaël Pagis (33 years, 34 meetings in L1 this season, 8 goals) could join the Stage Of Rennes. Barred in attack by the probable final signature of Djibril Cissé (25 years, 21 meetings in L1 this season, 8 goals), the old Of Strasbourg one would be on the shelves of the Breton club in the event of departure of the international Nigerian John Utaka (25 years, 35 meetings in L1 this season, 11 goals) towards Portsmouth. To follow. (By Alexis Pereira)

Papa Diouf has really screwed up with the Cisse deal. other clubs are interested and it seems negotiations between OM and Liverpool have stopped.
Djib keeps telling liverpool he only wants to join Marseille but OM have to make a good offer. Robert Louis-Dreyfus needs to make this deal happen.

are you guys interested in Pancrate?
It's been what, 3 years in a row? You have to continue your tradition of buying our players on the last minute
We'll make you a deal, buy Pancrate, we'll give you either give you Bueno and Kalou at half price, or give you Mendy free

Why have we signed Zenden? the guy is way past it.
Also Pagis has joined Rennes. So Toifilou Maoulida has been sold, Pagis also and Cisse still not signed. the situation upfront is not good.
Plus OM will lose Niang for African nations also.
Papa Diouf better sort this out.

Giuly > Zenden. I'm starting to think this team never wanted Giuly as evidence by chosing Zenden and being strongly interested in Castroman. Zenden and Castroman are cheaper so of course they'd rather have them. Giuly's transfer price I think is 6-8 million Euros. That's not too expensive. I'm sure he'd take a wage cut to come. The club is looking to save money and cheat the fans. I dont blame Diouf for the shoddy recruitment because Dreyfuss is only giving him so much money to work with and its clear Dreyfuss isnt interested in building a large European club. The worst thing that happened was when Krancher didnt have the money to buy the team.

Zenden was a free transfer thats why he was signed. If they some how miraculously sign Cisse and Wiltord then maybe this sorry mess could be salvaged. In my opinion, if Cisse and Giluy are not both signed then it was a failed recruitment. Period
