Hopefully we can get Ljuboja now, cuz I think Diouf said it was either Balde or Ljuboja.
We need a defender so badly rather than a striker. Aslo if we need a striker, I don't think that Ljuboja would be a good choice.

Well I'm just telling you what the press said.
I agree we need defenders, I just pointed out what the press was saying.

i think OM is finally going to see the light at the end of the tunnel. they made some bad recruitments last year, lizarazu, pedretti, luyindula, but now that they've managed to offload them all, along with deadwood like marlet, eduardo costa and bamago, things will look up.

After we play Lyon we'll probably be at three losses and no goals...

Indeed, yet I've seen Houllier's Lyon twice at least this season, and I haven't been too impressed.
Does Essien's absence cause such a difference in their performance?

Official : Batlles goes to Toulouse, Cana and probably Gimenez to OM
Pape Diouf announced several transferts to OM.net. Laurent Battles was transferred to Toulouse. Lorik Cana (PSG) joins OM. He should be followed by the Argentinean attacker Chritian Gimenez (Bâle).
The Tuesday’s evening was very emotive. Wednesday’s one was very informative. The first concerns a departure, the Laurent Batlles’ one for Toulouse, his formed club. He was transfered to it. The player has though prolonged the contract which leaded him to OM.« This shows that we have the will to keep him.», answers Pape Diouf.« But we noticed that he was not playing in the Jean Fernandez’s official team. And Laurent wanted to have more time to play. When Toulouse made a new offer we didn’t want to go against his will. I have a lot of esteem for this player and I wish him good luck.
All the Marseilles’ supporters will keep of “Lolo Batlles” the image of an exemplary Olympian, he was the author of wonderful and decisive goals in 2004-2005.
Cana from Marseilles!
As far as arrivals are concerned, Marseilles has a new recruit. Big satisfaction for the Olympian president: an agreement was found between PSG and Lorik Cana for the coming of the midfielder from Albany. “I am satisfied because he has the profile the staff was looking for. It’s a young player full of qualities. We are joyfull about his coming.”, was commenting Diouf. Cana will sign up for three or four years in the Olympian club’s favour. The final length of time will be fixed on Tuesday.
Finally Jose Anigo will not come back alone from his trip to Germany where he was watching Werder-Bâle Wednesday. “Jose will come back to OM with Chritian Gimenez. He was not part of the match, which was one of the conditions of his coming to us. His transfert to OM is just about to be ended up. We are leading to do it officially Thursday.”, explains Pape Diouf. Just like Cana the Argentinean attacker from Bâle should go through the traditional medical visit.

I read that they want to sign Mexes from Roma and that would be a good signing if they could get that done.

Lorik Cana. The rich man's Fiorese.
Enjoy. I hope he doesn't get pissed off anytime soon. You may have to contend with him leaving when he can't play regular football.
Let's see how the ultras treat him....
Hope they don't get on his back too much, when he plays crap.
Oh, who am I kidding?
I hope they lynch the ********er.

"Je continue de soutenir le PSG"
and a great way of showing it!
"En France, il y a deux grands clubs, c'est le PSG et l'OM."
well, he's young, so we'll forgive him about not knowing about ASSE or Stade Reims... but it seems that sometimes around his 16th birthday, a certain french club started packing in the silverware, and they haven't stopped yet... what is that club, it's on the tip of my tongue...
it's a club that's not stuck in last place, and oh yeah, it's a club that wouldn't touch a punk like him with a barge pole!

That's not uncommon in that area between Albania, Serbia, Bosnia, etc..
"Cs" at times are pronounced like "Ss", for instance, Serebrenica I believe is pronounced similarly to "Serebrenisa."

Pronounce «S»ana
Some call him «K»ana. Others«S»ana. What is the correct pronounciation for this Albanian miedfielder ?

The player himself, said his name has to be pronounced «S»ana, as «sand».
