Lorik Cana could be on the move from Marseille both Arsenal and AC Milan have made offers for him. On an interview for Albania-Sport Cana stated that there are 8 teams on the move for him 1 in Germany , 2 in Spain, 4 in England and two in Italy. He said Olympique Lyon has also been very interested in him but he stated that in France he will only play for Marseille.

I doubt it. Arsenal already have much better central midfielders in Fabregas, Diaby, and Denilson.
He is not Arsenal quality. Players usually say things like this so they drive up their contracts or want a high quality move.

There would be no reason for Arsenal to bid on him. Plus I like how there is nobody linking him with us. Sky Sports usually jumps on stories like these but they have not, and until it appears Arsenal.com it's not true. There have been many such stories in the past linking us with players that we would never get.
One example, Milan Baros. Plus Diaby, Fabregas, Denilson, Rosicky, Hleb. I don't think Cana is better than any of those five and I've watched him since he was at PSG. He couldn't even cut it there. Why would Milan need him as well?
They have Andrea Pirlo in his position, who is in some minds the best in the world in that position. As for their other midfielders they have Gattuso, Seedorf, Kaka, Gourcuff, Ambrosini.

He plays Gattuso's position. Maby Arsenal is looking for a good Defensive midfielder. One thing u need to understand is his game is not to score but to mess up the set plays the opposing team runs. He has a big body. His card is I think at 7 million Euro thats where Marseille put it. Maby is as u say but Albania-Sport would not just make something like this up they are very professional. Im just passing the news. Besides hes having a very good season at Marseille he is 23 YO and can still grow as a player. U and I both can agree that he has come a long way since he was at PSG. His game has improved alot and anyone can see that.

True, but I still think Arsenal would be linked with him in some other sources. They do this sort of thing also for Nikola Zigic last summer. He was being linked with Arsenal, Real Madrid yet in the end he went to Racing. He is playing very well, but it's just a sort of camouflage to make his price higher. If he goes to Arsenal that will be a surprise, but it would be interesting to see what he could do.
Another example. Danko Lazovic was being linked with Arsenal this past weekend in the Dutch papers. He has 17 goals in the Eredivisie, but besides his great form I doubt he is Arsenal quality. It doesn't mean I wouldn't like to see it however. It would be interesting that's for sure.

Cana can go to hell! :D
I have one thing to say to Marseille. Do NOT sell Ribery, no matter what price.
How else are we supposed to break Lyon's hold on the L1 if every team keeps selling its best players.
That's the problem with the Ligue 1. Players think of it only as a mean to get to England or Spain. They don't think they can just stay where they are, help the club become something bigger and better.
A real player who really cares about his team does not leave on whim. but then again, Ribery's shown us in the past he goes where the money is.
Drogba on the other hand, he was a player I could respect for his sense of team spirit.

LOL (About the Cana thing) I can understand why PSG fans hate him but I think he made a good choice going to Marseille.
I agree with u on Ribery if Marseille want to make a run at European cups they better hold on to Ribery. I dont know if its only me but the player that has impressed me the most this year from Marseille is Nasri.

Great deal for both sides. Gimenez is fast becoming a favorite in Berlin. :)

Where should we upgrade when the transfer window opens this summer?
I think to challenge Lyon we need to keep the squad, PLUS add one key player in each spot.
So a good CB, a good CM, and a good striker, maybe?
Right now we have "enough" to finish between midtable and 4th/5th, imho.?
What do you guys think?

I really want Marseille to be competitive next year. The imbalance in Ligue 1 isn't healthy for either France (or Lyon, selfishly speaking).
What do you think are the chances that Ribery will stay? And has Cisse justified his price tag (and salary) to be worth keeping?

If we are to try and challenge your guy's stronghold on L1, then yea Riberu should stay. Don't know whether he really wants to.
IMHO, Cisse has not justified his price tag, and I will take it a step further--he's the best paid player in France, I think...you do the math. :o

Bring back Pedretti? He hasn't exactly flourished in Lyon. He might settle in nicely again at the Vel and he wouldn't be expensive.

I am not entirely sure what to think.OM was doing very well at the beginning of the season, and they were very close in points with OL.Then after one match it went downhill from there (I can't recall what match that was).
