Tonight i played with my vapors for the first time, didn't practise with them before that. They gave me the biggest blisters at the heel area. The second half it got so bad i couldnt walk, but still continued to play. I decided to wear them in warm hot water for 30 minutes, then walked around with them for 5 minutes. now they are drying, i gotta see what they are like now. Has anyone ever done this, did it work? also what are some other ways to prevent blisters, thanks.

i have addressed this issue before, since i had the maddest hugest blisters on my heels from vapors. just stick a small piece of sports tape over ur heel . of course wait for ur blisters to heal completely before u start playing again. and No i would not put vapors in hotwater, u'd screw-up the glue, and probably get splits sooner......

Now, tell me, all guys who get mad blisters from vapors, why do you buy shoes that you know will hurt your feet. Threads like this pop up every week if not every couple days. I've read a lot of this kindof stuff and you probably too. I bet you all are pretty aware that there's a 99% chance you'll get blisters and can hardly run or kick the ball. Why do you still buy vapors? I think the answer is damn simple - all this new colourways, nike skin; many of you actually buy them for looks cause they are definitely very fancy shoes and were designed to be fancy. You may disagree but I know what the matter is.

I think 99% is quite high since i heard tons of people say they dont have any problems with vapors and never had, so other people bought vapors because they wanted to take the chance and see if they'd get blisters or not, i'd give it about a 50 50% that you'll get blisters from vapors!! ;)

Ive never ever had blisters from my vapors. But they are good boots once you have worn them in. Just keep trying them.

99% is a joke, obviously, but there's sure a great percentage of people who get their feet hurt.

I think that these shoes are not meant for guys with flat or wide feet. They are very narrow, therefore blisters occur. I believe the reason that most buy these shoes is because they are so lightweight, not because they look stylish.

where are your blisters exactly? on the heel? a littlebi obove the heel? I want to tape up the first time i wear my vapors so i don't suck =P AND it does make sence that the hot water trick wouls cause nasty sole splitting....

I think the water trick would damage the boots. After all they arent leather. So whats the point? I just dont see how people are getting blisters. Unless they are getting the wrong size or something or there socks are too loose inside the boot or something?
