My 0.5Mbps Internet connection just cut out and I was about to launch a vitriolic attack on my provider for being a complete shower of shite. I managed to connect again and to my surprise the connection is now 2.2Mbps!

IMHO, my experience with music exponentially grew as soon as I bought one. I will say you might want to wait until the end of the year as the current iPods will be replaced w/ new ones incorporating new features. You'll probably be able to get one cheap!

If not for iTunes, I'd agree with you, but the combination of an iPod and iTunes is great, just because of the amazing selection. It's the only Apple product I'll ever buy!

yeah, i had one that was 64 MB, but it was a pain putting certain songs on. I just have mine on random, with 2400 songs on it

yeah i really don't see the point of one this size...it's more trouble than it is worth...if i wanted to load only 15 songs, i'd burn a cd and get to add 5 more ;)
Have I mentioned I really don't like kids? What's that quote? I childproofed the house, but they still get in!

kids rock. i was a lifeguard for 5 summers and probably spent more time goofing around with the kids when I wasn't in the chair then folding towels and cleaning, which is what I was supposed to be doing.
