La empresa alemana Adidas anunció que contenderá para ser el patrocinador oficial de la Selección Mexicana de Futbol, durante el periodo 2002-2006.
My first choice is Atletica...but I woulndt mind Adidas.
I just hope we dont get Nike. I hate Nike's soccer gear. Its pure crap. Their jersey's look like volleyball jerseys. I thought is very unoriginal and unprofessional that Nike used the same format with all its teams in the World Cup....all they did was just change colors.

Go back & look @ the World Cup shirts. It wasn't Nike that had the same shirts in different colors. Adidas was just as guilty. All shirts were the same just different color.

yeah, but nike's shirts are ugly. the same cannot be said of adidas.

Nike's product was and has been piss poor for quite a while in the realms of soccer.
Argentina, Spain, Germany..even Turkey had great kits. Frances blue kit and Argentina's traditional jersey didnt look so much like the rest of of Adidas' product. other than the number and the 3 lines on the sleeve. Adida did have some variation. Nike had NONE
England (Umbro) was top notch. Mexican club team Cruz Azul switched over to Umbro and the kits are classy.
Mexico's (Atletica) kits was also very classy.
Itlay's (Kappa) was very cool
Nike will probabaly get hired to make the new Mexican kit... but if it looks anything like what they had in Japan/Korea.... that will be one of the few Mexican jerseys that i wont buy.

anyhow..
Adidas still had some variation with its format
uruguays kits were also nice (who made uruguays kits in the WC?)

Thats right.. Frnce's WC98 kits had 3 horizontal lines across the torso along with the bold red horizontal line...
In 98, the only Nike jersey i did like was the US. The US's redish jersey was very classy... they should have stuck with that one.. and maybe modified it some for 2002..

what I dont like about these brands(nike, adidas) is there cookie cutter design with different color schemes. My top pick would still be atletica, and I pray to God not to get stuck with Nike.

I think if Mexico is gonna go with a non-Mexican company they should just get Kappa to make their uniforms.
