Four matchdays down, two to go. Despite recent stumbles, including a home loss in its most recent Champions League match against Auxerre, Arsenal still top Group A with 9 points, two ahead of today's opponents.

The last time these teams met Arsenal came away with a 2-0 home win thanks to 2nd half goals from Bergkamp and Ljungberg.

Arsenal win the group with a win today; they qualify to the 2nd group phase with a draw, or if Auxerre don't win at PSV.

Dortmund's only loss this season came at Highbury to Arsenal, 2-0. They are 2-1-1 in the Champions League, and 5-0-5 in the Bundesliga.

They've also lost just once at home in 16 Champions League matches.

Does a tie assure us of advancing?

Yikes. Lars Ricken hits the post after being put through by Ewerthon. A stuttering start, to say the least.

The best 4 middies in the midfield for us today. If we score it will be Pires or Freddie. Wiltord never seems to do well when in the strikers position. Especially in CL games.

Go ahead and correct me Im sure Im wrong.

Henry with a low cross at the near post, gathered by keeper Jens Lehmann.

Arsenal look lively in the attack, as Wiltord and Lauren work the ball to the edge of the penalty area, but the ball goes out of play.

That sounds about right, not that I would know, I never get to watch any of the CL matches! I'm surprised that Pires is in quite honestly

More from Arsenal, as Henry's cross is headed to Ashley Cole, who rips a shot over the bar.

9 - Henry bursts into the box but Metzelder comes to the rescue. The ensuing corner is overhit.

11 - Ljungberg with a cross that Metzelder and Lehmann clear.

An error by Campbell gives Rosicky a long shot on goal, but Seaman makes the save.

Yikes again. Ricken's cross cleared by Cygan, but it goes to Dede who passes to Koller who heads onto the post*. Seaman was beaten.

*As an aside, shots that hit the post apparently count as shots on goal in soccer, unlike hockey, where they don't. We now return you to your regularly scheduled PBP.

Arsenal 1, Dortmund 0.

Goal Arsenal, Thierry Henry from a free kick.

You mean even if the shot doesn't go in?
