Define a real song?

I think most songs posted are real songs that would sound great if we all could sing together.

We need songs that are in English. WE have enough spanish songs and La norte should be changed to Northside; our hispanic population has gone down big time, but our anglo population has increased significantly.

We need easy, short songs in English.

Here is mine. Very easy:

USSssssssss, USSSSSssss, we are United with USss,
USSssssssss, USSSSSssss, WE ARE UNITED WITH USSSSS. (repeat)

(BOLT= loud as possible)

KEEP

IT

SIMPLE

STUPID

that means simple ************ing cheers that repeat a lot and everyone picks up quick... don't make it complicated and lose the effort that everyone wants to put into the match

keep it ************ing simple

We should make a real effort to do a little singing at the tailgate - especially if anyone wants to introduce any new songs to the repertoire.

i'm really rather doubting that everyone meets up at the same tailgate

that's why you have to keep it simple, everyone isn't going to be in each other's back pockets... everyone there is going to want to be going nuts and using their voice... so keet it simple, i'm sure everyone would like to do something somewhat complicated or even complicated

but it won't work

keep it simple

Everyone can except for you. You've been out with those hoochy women so no singing for you . ;)

Actually, I don't think Flip's coming.

There is the song page of my website. Probably a couple you could use.

"Let him die, let him die, let him die
(Sympathy for the injured opposing player)"

Gotta love that one.

My favorite at the Metro home games is Tim Howard's song:
The T,

The I,

The M,

The M,

The Y,

The T,

The I

The M

It's Timmy!

Got BC Syracuse that weekend. I actually thought about flying down from Logan, but I'm spending a bit of cash already that weekend.

Sorry, Bhoyoz...

Ah, sin sima
Hoo stole da keyz to mah Bimma?
EL SALVADOOOOR

Homeboy
We came to DC
Your girl keeps lookin at me
She's a Hagler
Nah, I ain't taggin her
An you know the USA'll start askin ya
Whatcha gonna do, puto??? [nuttin!]
Whatcha tryin do, puto??? [nuttin!]

jmeissen, actually you can keep it simple, and you can still raise the bar a little. I've seen what LaNorte can do and their op isn't all that bad. ;) ESCers know the deal also, it's the rest of the Yanks support that's gotta keep up :D

Thanks NJPsycho...

You guys all know The Cure's "Friday I'm in Love" right? Thought so.
Anyway...

Our boys wear RED, WHITE, AND BLUE
We are U.S. through and through
Your team's shlt and you know it too
So don't you **** with us.

Okay, so the last two lines probably won't go over too well with the more uptight U.S. fans, but it's a start. Maybe replace the last line with So don't you tread on me or something.

It sounded like a good idea at three in the morning so go easy if you think it's crap. ;)
