If you only knew, we used to take the bus to Chinatown and load up. Then we'd come back and go nuts, apparently no one in the Neighborhood was concerned by the explosions because i don't remember the cops ever showing up. :D
And don't even ask about the Salamander Space Program.

How about finding out which of your old toys made the best explosions, melting action figures with sparklers? We used to put them in our Hot Wheels and see if they would jet-race across the roads.

my brothers and I had a G.I. Joe v. Star Wars battle...we tied the figures/vehicles to fireworks...staged a sweet battle! However, we probably flushed alot of $ down the drain (with how much vintage GI and SW toys are worth)...

Honestly, you don't want to know. Lets just say it involved oversized bottle rockets and a few brave amphibians. :rolleyes:
As far as toys, i used to buy Snap-tite Models (usually tanks), throw them together quickly, and load them up with whatever fireworks were available. Good times. :)

Just wanted to say thanks to Rick for explaining the commentary on the replay I saw last night. It was actually fun to listen to, but I'm glad the "WTF?" factor will be gone next time I run across that.
