Shhh don't tell my husband that! He thinks this is our 10 year anniversary trip! :D ;) What he did not realize is that the anniversary part will be sandwiched between matches! :p

I am looking in the Hyde Park area (mostly). Seems to be close to alot of stuff and I found a couple of places near Paddington and Victoria stations (have a list I am putting together by price and location to let Rick look over-would you like me to send it to you too?

How quick can we get out of jail because I promised Leigh we would go up to Cambridge for some punting on the Cam (the river) before the Sunderland match!

Lucky for you I had an aggressive older brother and am very good at getting people out of trouble! Or if all else fails do you think the boob flash would work in London? ;) :p

About 10 years ago, I stayed at the Flemings Mayfair Hotel on Half Moon Street in London. It wasn't the nicest hotel i've stayed at in London, but the rooms were comfortable and the location was fantastic. Its basically right across the street from Green Park, and a very short walk to Picadilly Circus. Its a nice neighborhood, and not far from the action. You might want to check it out.
Edit: I checked it out on Orbitz and its not that cheap about $280 a night. But i saw some good deals at some of the Hilton propertys, one in Islington had rooms with two double beds for 100 pounds a night. I use Orbitz alot, along with tablethotels.com which is good for the trendier hotels.

edit: but i've found deals on expedia.com that have airfare and 3 star hotels for like $850

Yeah the last time my ex and i took an anniversary trip it was to Vegas. He went downstairs at like 9:00 and was gone gambling ALL NIGHT. The nerve!! I can't imagine why we are divorced?? ;) Of course this is the same guy who sent me to the car at a casino one time at 11:00 at night saying, "I'll meet you there in 5 minutes." I dozed off, woke up in the car, ALONE, and it was 7:00 in the MORNING!!! LOL

I think the boob flash works any where! I hope your boobs are bigger than mine though. My boobs will only get us out of very minor misdemeanors. LOL
