uhhhh take ashley with you? lol
no seriously, never been i'm no help
Wow it's dead in here tonight. And lord knows I can't sleep. Someone is either popping fire crackers outside (in clear violation of the burn ban) or this is Arkansas so it's just as likely to be gunshots. LOL Hope they're not shooting at me ;)

I have been, stay downtown... near the china town entrance. On like the 18th floor of the sir francis drake hotel is club the proathletes frequent. Take a cab to Haight-Ashbury, cool shops, good food, entrance to Golden gate park is right there, you see real life hippies who have no clue what year it is.
From the Drake it is a five block walk to PacBell park where the giants plays and even the cheap seats are good because you can see the harbor, which is beautiful. Fishermans wharf and the ferry to Alcatraz all nearby. You can line you and make the whole Alcatraz trip in less than an our for like six dollars,,,,,highly recommend.
Say out of the mission, they hate tourists.
Bring a sweater.

Thanks for the tips, i made a reservation at the Clift which is supposed to be pretty hip. I thinks its not too far from Chinatown and everything else. I'll check out the Drake too. Anyway, i'm gonna drive up there along the coast, making a few stops, probably one night in LA and one in Santa Cruz. Then i'll be in SF for 4 nights, then maybe up to the wine country for a night or two. Should be a cool road trip. Can't wait, gonna take off Tues. night for LA.

if you're in the mood to hit the scene try Fluid lounge in SF on friday. it's in the financial district just about a block from the Moscone center. lots of models, etc. there's also W about a block away from there. Ruby Skye's just a stone's throw from the Clift as well.
LA tues nite? if you're staying in hollywood the Standard on sunset won't be too tough to get into. Might spot jessica alba there too...she's there a lot.

One of my ex-girlfriends is a lesbian folk singer in San Francisco. Want me to see if she's playing while you're there? I should be able to get you on the comp list..

Thanks Coach, but i've kinda outgrown my lesbian folk singer phase. Besides, it wouldn't be cool getting beat up by a bunch of butches for heckling their favorite singer. :D
But i am surprised that no one reminded me to wear flowers in my hair. :)

Wait...does that mean she used to be a lesbian, making this a situation where she left the one team via free agency, only to come back? And did she do the whole "bury the hatchet" thing like Mark Messier did when he returned to the Rangers?

Micky Rourke was a great actor who somewhat ruined his career after doing a string of soft core porn movies. What ever happened to him?
