Congratulations, DEAD FINGERS!!! I had asked him to take my place, as the role wasn't to my liking and with my wife due in less than 3 months with our 2nd child life is going to get EXTREMELY busy. I wanted to make sure that the Mod was someone who could devote the proper amount of time and energy to the posters on here. I realized I couldn't maintain the high standard that I hope in a moderator. I chose Dead Fingers because he is a great guy, classy poster, passionate, and an active poster. I know he will make us proud.

Just wanted to share this with everyone in the Germany+Bundesliga forums.

P.S. I know Bavarians on these boards will be thrilled to have a FC Bayen Munich supporter as their Moderator. Always great to have someone in your corner.

I have a question regarding Bigsoccer's policy towards NSR, sticky threads and new subforums: did you get something like a introduction for those topics and can you tell us what will be allowed in the future and what not?

I have a question regarding Bigsoccer's policy towards NSR, sticky threads and new subforums: did you get something like a introduction for those topics and can you tell us what will be allowed in the future and what not?


I know we have talked about this a lot recently. Since recently taking over as mod..I am not sure on all the BS policies ...yet.
Personally....I would like a NSR subforum or at least a sticky for it. As for team forums...I think we have enough and feel if people are using the threads they do not need sticky's. Hannover is usually towards the top...cuz good people are in it :) ...and you guys said you did not need a whole subforum. That's cool!

However, I do not have all the Big Soccer imput yet on what I can or can't do in regards to this matter. Again...I am a not 100% physically well yet...so please have patience if I do not get to this quickly.

I also have to look into threads longer than 500 posts. I have heard BS likes to close threads once they reach that point....Doesn't mean the topic goes away...just time for a new thread. I will check on this as well.
