Did anyone else come close to getting frazzled, or was it just me?
That's a fecking storm. Don't get em like that in blighty.
I will tonight as I'm biking home probably. My mom who is deathly afraid of lightning and has tried to instill a morbid fear of it in my brother and I has already phoned three times to make sure I'm taking the bus instead.

There was lightning yesterday afternoon. I picked that exact time to go outside and spray off the drop cloths from the room I was painting.. Always a smart move.

My helmet is bad @ss, now all it needs is a Motorhead sticker.

No not really, but I'm trying to instill fear into those car drivers that pass me. Death Cab sticker, they try to run me off the road while screaming "if you want to ride a bike move to China emo f@g!" While if I have a Motorhead sticker, they are likely to swerve all the way into the left hand lane to avoid a good beating and damage to their vehicle.
Honestly I have it planned out. If some dick hits me and it's totally his fault, and I'm able to get up from it mind you, I'm going to pick up my bike walk to the front of the car and throw my bike through the wind shield.

I think I would just drag him out of the car and close the door on his head a few times.

Yeah I saw the lightning. I was lunching at the North Market right when it hit. Had a good view from upstairs where all the windows are.

Ahh, this must be what the weather folks are on the air here in Columbus about that is supposedly on it's way and should be here in the next 45 minutes! Excellent. Better pull the car in to the garage.

Yep. Twas a good 30 minute long storm. Lots of lightning, heavy rain, hail, high winds. Thankfully, the hail never got very big - I'll have to check my car for dents tomorrow, but I'm sure it survived OK.

These mid-day lightning storms keep knocking out my power & undoing my VCR programming. This week I' ve lost 2 episodes of PTI & the Wiz/ Crew game, good thing I can watch the game on the internet.
Does anyone know if the July 3rd reserve game will be @ Obetz or Jesse Owen's?
