It was a fun game to watch as was the Wigan game (My old team) It was a lot like watching an MLS game, similar standard of play. Fast, hard tacklng.

I thought the speed was faster than MLS, Mansfield was attacking hard, and the fact that their defense was a bit weak made a fun game.

FA cup's 130th Birthday this year. Still the oldest Football tournament in the world. Still the greatest Club Cup in the world. Respect to the FA cup.

I think you should know that this is NOT an undergraduate college team in the traditional (or romantic) sense of the word.
The Bath team is, in this case, made up exclusively of "mature" students almost all of whom have playing experience in either professional (lower divisions) or semi-professional football and who are now collectively taking an associate (two-year) course in sports administration and management.
This team has more experience and has, for the most part, played at higher levels individually than the majority of their opponents in the FA Cup so far, and most of them are looking to get back into the full time game as well. They are an anomaly...they are not a university team in any "real" sense of the word.
I am not trying to rain on their parade or belittle their achievement (well done to them) but if you read the press, even they are somewhat embarassed at the way they are being painted to be some they really are not.
1 - All players for Team Bath are full time students.
2 - There are plenty of examples of student athletes in the US who are 'Mature' I know of several examples of players who tried their hand at minor league baseball then packed that in a few years later to play College Basketball or Football.

if mls is as fast and exciting as the bath / mansfield game I,m gonna make more effort to watch it.
Oh yeah, and I forgot to mention that first goal by Bath. What a sweet strike!!!
