Where exactly are you?
Cranberry Township. It's about 20 minutes north of Pittsburgh, where 79 and the PA Turnpike meet up.

Gotcha. My girlfriend grew up in the North Hills - Fox Chapel/Aspinwall. We have friends in Mt. Lebo and a few other places.
We get back there 3 times a year or so. It's a fun town.

I know it. I met a few people from there. And yes, your assessment is basically right on. It's the typical small town with nothing to do and the weird people who've never been beyond the borders of that town.

i'm watching the Hooligan documentary from 1985, it talks about hte ICF. some great hairstyles.

i'm watching the Hooligan documentary from 1985, it talks about hte ICF. some great hairstyles.

if anyone is looking for some new music I just stumbled on a website of this kid I went to high school with. It turns out he's in Nashville and has recorded a few albums. Here's a site with some Mp3s that you can listen to (stream). Its not bad:

also, no one here responded to my Damien Rice query. Anyone listen to him? If not I suggest you do. Next time you are with a member of the opposite sex (or same sex, not that theres anything wrong with that) pop in his record "O" and just do what you were going to do in the first place.

Damo is freaking amazing. I saw him live last year. I was absolutly blown away. At one point he was playing his guitar on his knees with no lights on, save the 5 candles on the stage and in like one minute it was just an orgy of sound with strobe lights going everywhere.
seriously, go and pick up "O" and then next time you have a lady over put it on before you get busy.
