i was just watching the HUGE storm thats pulsating over my town and had been going for 3 hours. me and my sister were watching it from my parents room as it has the best view over the garden and is the highest point in the house. the windows were open and we were hanging out them. my parents allways park the car in the back garden (i live next to an allyway which we can reverse down into the garden). all of a sudden a huge lightning bolt came down and struck next to the car (about 10-15 yards away) there were sparks everywhere and i could feel the heat from the lightning hit me in the face. the sparks were dark yellow but were really bright. it knocked us back over my parents double bed and to be hounest i dont know whether me or my 14 YO sis made the louder and more high pitched scream. this happened 20 mins ago...... and the adreniline is pumping right now!!!
