I can't tell that much about Ajaccio except that they have Roland Courbis as coach (till then), and the guy is quite a character in French football !!

i can tell you that they're lucky to still be in L1. they just barely avoided relegation of the field, and fended it off for grounds reasons with fantastic promises to renovate their stadium that will almost certainly not be kept.

some amateur clubs in the lyon area are run more professionally than ACA!

Aside from having bad ass looking uniforms, and a god aweful facility, (Stade Francois Coty (http://www.stadiumguide.com/francoiscoty.htm) ) I don't know much. Ajaccio has always been dominated by Bastia, and until recently they were the only team in League 1. In fact, when Ajaccio got promoted, there was a ruling that such a small city could not have two League 1 teams, but that must have been reversed.
Ajaccio will be back in L2 if they don't do some work on that hole they call a stade.

None of the teams on Corsica should be in Ligue1 both are god awful...

Happier that Ajaccio is in there, ultimate underdogs.

Never understood the bad rap about them except that their 1) from Corsica and 2) have a bad stadium.

Bastia made the UEFA Cup final in 1978 and they have won a French Cup so they do have some tradition of success there unlike Ajaccio.
