Y por si esto fuese poco, el argentino Lavolpe dijo que además tiene preparada "una sorpresa" para ese choque en Chiclayo.

________
So he says no bunkering as with ARG, but an atacking tyle.
But what is the big suprise? What does the Argie mastermind have up his manga?

an offensive 1-4-5 formation?
this idiot is gonna bend over for brazils c team, just like he did against argentina. if this squad cant beat brazils c team he should get fired before he even gets back to mexico.

he already played brazil 3 times, so he should pretty well know their weak spots. I hope he wins against brazil.

while mexico has played the brazilians 3 times in the past year, none of the teams have been the same. In the first game, he went up against a pretty full strength squad in a friendly that ended scoreless. The next two meetings were in the gold cup at azteca with a relatively weaker squad. Both were wins, but very good games. Now this time mexico goes up aaginst the weakest of the brazilian teams. they have been proven to have many weaknesses in their back line. It would probably be best to play an atacking game. Find holes that are sure to open up in that back line. after all, if lavolpe is so worried about their offense, its best not to give the brazilians much time with the ball.

-snip- Francisco Palencia, atacante del Guadalajara, indicó que "en mi caso estoy muy entusiasmado por jugar este partido. Ni siempre se tiene la oportunidad de jugar ante un rival así, de tanta categoría". -snip-

Dear God.
Other than that worthless piece of crap playing, I don't know what surprise Lavolpe could possibly come up with. Attacking for once?
Once again, I'll be brief and just laugh at the comment about attacking them exactly like he did against Argentina. Explosion and gaps, my a$$.
Making the simple observation after the first 3 games, I'd say Lavolpe is on drugs. Seems like watching the game from the stands is very distinct from us watching at home. Or, Maybe it's the South American air.
Maybe, just maybe,..
There was something in the air that night. The sky was bright. Fernando?

Yeah some of Lavolpe's comments are incomprehensible.
Personally I think Lavolpe's knows what he's saying perfectly well, and he's taking the mick out of the press. F-ing with 'em

Ditto. The Menotti comments were so off target, it didn't make sense. Could he be a genius and have planned it all along? Semi-bunker down against Uruguay, make absurd declarations about some mystery offense we have yet to see, claim to use the same lineup against Argentina, only to beat them (marginally), beat Ecuador with minimal effort while looking bad in the process, coast into 1/4s to beat Brazil, which is possible when you take into account our style of rising to the level of opposition, then get the rematch against Colombia, etc etc etc.
Who knows? Weirder things have happened.
But I'd like to think it's all just a simple case of "ganamos de panzazo."

Well, you will have a part of the brazilians cheering for mexico against Brazil. We, the Sao Paulo supporters. We want Luis Fabiano back as soon as possible, our team is struggling in the brazilian league without him and we are pooping for this copa america.

Don't get too excited. He's just posting the damn America emblem in each forum before he goes back into seclusion for another half year.
What is the purpose of this?
Does Cradle's lead singer know something we don't?
Damn. I'm always being stumped here.
