We'll riot in celebration.
First of all, it's not going to happen.
But that'd be great.
Although, do you honestly believe there's even a remote possibility of that happening with Bunkerball v.2.0 ?

Even if it does happen, will you guys still want him fired?

If Jamaica beats the US 4-1 would want Arena fired?

LaVolpe has not lost that badly yet as the coach for Mexico. My original question is that will there still be some LaVolpe bashing if he ends up blowing out Brazil. If US loses 4-1, it depends on what kind of match it is and whether Arena keeps it up or not.

if Mex wins 4-0 then he will probably quit and run for President.

So your saying one match either way won't change your opinion of Arena?

First of all, let's stop being dumb.
For those making the argument all over the damn internet, the U.S. does not lose by more than 2 goals over 90% of the time NOT because they are some godly team, but because they play bunkerball.
Lavolpe hasn't lost bad either for the same go4@#mn reason.
Unlike you guys, we don't want to put up with this borefest. It's annoying, it's hardly our style and it goes against what we believe good futbol is. But it produces results, right? Yeah. Whatever. Count me out.
I would feel the same way if Hugo took over and played some "flashy" attack only to get pounded 4-3 in high scoring games. I don't want good play but bad results.
I want my cake and I want to eat it, too.
Ronaldo & Ronaldinho or not, Brazil is a very good team. But I don't kid myself believing it's the same. Sure, on paper, these guys are supposed to be hungry and eager to prove that they belong on the "real" squad. But are they showing it? Doesn't seem like it. By tonight, don't be surprised to see Mexico beat these guys.
To me, it doesn't change anything. Lavolpe is still a bad coach. He just utilizes the solid backline and GK and prays for the good result. Where is the fluid attacking we were promised? The ones demonstrating the most effectiveness are not "his" players. They are the established ones. I'm sure there are more out there. But we'll never know if we keep seeing goofs like Tavo Valdez.
Anyway, I'm stupid. Later.

Got to be several in a row. But that's just my opinion.

ladies and gentlemen, i think mexicos lost was partly my fault. :(
the 'surprise' lavolpe was talking about was to take two well known whores (rdl and vs' sisters) so they can 'service' la seleccion, but they were busy here giving me bjs. :D

Then that makes me partially suspect also. While watching the game, I was drinking my 2 litros de Coca Cola you gave me for RDL's sister.

Lavolpe's suprise was for Mexico to drop its pants and bend over...hopefully to stun Brazil into an incoherent stupor...almost worked!!!
