Correct me if I'm wrong, but, the Saudi's are on pretty civil terms with the Emirates; and Bin Laden is a member of the Saudi Royal family? Wouldn't having an Arab sponsored stadium make us less likely to be attacked? I guess this guy just picked the two most prominent clubs in the Capital to spin his yarn about?

or his ignorance means he chose these two.

And given how popular the clubs are with people from that type of background, it would make no sense at all.
Its only Ray Parlour

Bin Laden's a Gooner. So we're connected upto Ying-Yang. Fergie should take heed. :D

Apparently White Hart Lane was going to be the original choice, but upon the scene location director attending, he thought that it had already been bombed ! :)

Given Bin Laden's hatred of the Russians from his days in Afghanistan, maybe it's Stamford Bridge that should be worried ;)
+ Glazer being American Old Trafford is a potential target!

Sadly, all of the big 3 should be worried. They're all run by Jews. ;) I suppose Spurs might be worried too, but bin Laden probably doesn't know who they are.

Quote from the article on thisislondon.co.uk:
"An Al Qaeda attack in which more than 1,000 Arsenal and Chelsea fans are killed is to feature in a new film backed by Channel 4. "
Wait a minute....Channel 4?

Anybody see this:
Cleave writes of his protagonist - a self-confessed "chav" - watching the match on TV while having sex with a reporter when al Qaeda strikes.
Sounds like primo literature to me.
Arsenal, it is understood, were not consulted about the novel or the film, which includes as characters Thierry Henry, Robert Pires, Gael Clichy, and Robin Van Persie.
Interesting that they can actually use the names of teams without licensing. Also that they can use the names of actual persons. That's not allowed in the US without consent, which is why most film sports teams have goofy names and uniforms.

Strong ties between the Bushes and the Saudis didn't stop him from ramming planes into office buildings, it just stopped the US from retaliating against the Saudis despite their sponsorship of terrorism in general and 9/11 in particular. So, based on Blair's acceptance of orders from W I'd say OBL has the all-clear to bomb London. We'll be sure to capture those responsible if they happen to be in North Korea after W's "intelligence" points the finger at them.

Actually, in the end, it will just turn out to have been caused by some visiting Inter Milan supporters when they go to toss a flare on the pitch and accidentally hit a gas line.

This book is an unfortunate 'loophole' which brought politics to this board by the back door. I don't want politics on this board and apologise for putting an ill thought out 2 penny worth in!:(

Agree with martymarts that discussing this issue on this board is a bad idea. Just wanna say that I think the whole book/movie is a really distasteful idea, freedom of speech be damned. I'm open to this person speaking his point of view, but I don't think it's something to be encouraged.
Anyway, I wouldn't even have paid attention to this if it wasn't the stupid off-season... :(
I'M SO BORED!!!
