Guy's,

As I am sure many of you have gathered from talk in the threads, there has been a huge interest today for tickets. I obviously was aware this would happen and have tried to reply quickly to everyone. But have got lost from the PM's and chat in threads!!! I have received 27 requests so far, remember a lot come from Arsenal America people that arn't on this board. So I have a lot to deal with and organise. If I don't get back to you straight away, please let me know.

To make it simple what I need to start with is full names and address's of those who want tickets and the match's you want them for. Please include dates to save me looking them up. Ive given my e-mail to most people regarding this. If you don't have it, please ask one of Bluto11, Bighorn or Detlef. Im trying to go through these as quickly as possible, so apologies if I can't answer all your questions re hotels, travel etc at the moment. If you have any like these, please put them here on this thread as I know that there are those who can help (Dan, Doug, Dave from Chicago, Ali, Ryan etc) So if you could I'd appreciate it for the moment. If of course there is somethig that needs answering straight away - obviously PM or e-mail me.

Thanks in advance,

Rick

Cheers Rick for all your help...I know we all appreciate you connecting us Yanks to Arsenal in a way we may not be able to without you. I would be happy to assist with whatever I can
Looking forward to another memorable season of Arsenal Football. Is it August yet?!

Rick ill be glad to help you out if i can. what ever games go on sale to red members this season that i cant get to i will give you my member number to use. i dunno how many i will get to this season because of my looneyversity commitments and the ridicoulous amount it costs for a student to go to a game.

if there is any info you need me to find out for people i will see what i can do aswell.

Rick, you've already got my number as well as Emily's. Feel free to use them. Emily should be getting in touch with you Re: tickets if she doesn't get all bashful.

Rick, I renewed my red membership again, so, if you need to use it, go ahead. All the info is the same as last year. If you need it again, PM me.

EXACTLY! Rick is THE Anglo-American Arsenal Link...without your kindness, us Yanks would just be loonies sitting around talking about a club that 75% of Americans don't even know about.

Thanks again, your the best.

Oh well... here it is... I'm planning a trip to Manchester to see the bolton game on Dec 31st and wondered if I could also see our game at your place on Jan 2nd... any chance of me getting a ticket? what are the usual procedures? I'd be happy to comply to the email request, except I dont have ur email address... and if u feel obligated to actual gooners first i understand.

I'll save Rick the trouble of responding to this one.....that game will be in high demand. He can't even guarantee us Gooners tickets to that one.

'Fraid you are on your own.

Understood...

I figured I'll be trying to buy a ticket from a scalper to get in that game anyway... about what do the tickets cost on game day from scalpers? just a general range obviously.

Last season I saw as quotes online high as about 250-300 quid for the Feb game against ManU at Highbury. Would expect it to be the same. Obviously, you might do better on game day.

I'm not sure how it works at Highbury, but, in Pittsburgh for Steeler games, if you wait until after the game starts, the prices go down pretty quickly. Just make sure you can still get in after you buy the ticket!

I, a Gooner, will be looking for 2 tickets to that match, as well (will be there for 12/28/05 - 1/5/06) I know it's a long shot as I'm not prepared to pay a tout, but I'm still hopeful.

BLOODY HELL! (in my best british accent, which is pretty good, since we speak the queen's english in Trinidad :D )

I think I'll wait till matchday... and if I can't get a reasonable price I guess I can always watch it at a pub.

I am afraid the Man U match is one (plus Spurs home and Wigan home) where I won't be able to help. I will of course be in the Tavern and it would obviously be nice if anyone is over to come by and have a pint with me.
