http://www.arsenalamerica.com/radio/podcast.xml Is the RSS for the Second ArsenalAmerica.com podcast. DallasGooner and I talk about the FA Cup, player of the year, tickets and call Rick Breese from London to talk about the preseason trip to Austria.
It's not perfect, and there is a lot of static and background noise (hey, we're on a shoestring). But as the season goes on, we hope to make this more regular and more professional.
http://www.arsenalamerica.com/radio/arsenalpod62305.mp3 is the direct link to the MP3 file.
Feel free to leave us a voice mail on Skype to username "ArsenalAmerica" and we'll try to get your comments on next time.

If I woulf have known we had a Podcast I would have asked Nick Hornby for an interview after his book signing in LA. Well maybe next time.
I just got an Ipod a couple weeks ago and man I love it. Now I can add a little ArsAm section to listen at work.

Just downloaded the mp3 file & played it on winamp. Sounded fine for a first broadcast, although I could have done without the 'waking up on the floor of a Spurs fan's house' reference! :D

Just wanted to add something here but you don't need iPod, you can listen to podcasts on any computer or mp3 player. There are several programs that will automaticaly sync podcasts with your iPod (broadcasting to your ipod, podcasting) which is why an iPod is easier. I use iPodderX, it has some advanced features that iTunes does not have yet but iTunes works just fine for most people. Just paste the RSS feed url above and you'll automatically download it everytime there is a new one. If you want more podcast places like podcastdirectory.com or podcastalley.com have larger lists then the one in iTunes.
If anyone has any question about podcast just post them here, it been in the press a lot this past week so I am sure we have some people who are new to podcasting here.

One of whom would be me!!! I was mystified when you and Andrew first asked me, I had no idea what you guy's were going on about!! I just went along pretending I knew what you were talking about - has this stuff got to the UK yet? - I'm being serious!!

Adam Curry (from MTV) does most of his shows from Guildford...he is one of the founding fathers of podcasting. Helped get the word out about the greatness of it.
There is a site called britcaster.com is a site dedicated to UK podcasts. Several UK podcasts have a very large subscriber base. As far as I can tell Andrew was the first person to do a podcast on the Premiership (ArseAm podcast #1) and right now there is only 2 total, ours and www.thepremiershippodcast.com.

BBC Five Live's Fighting Talk was one of the first podcasts I started downloading regularly. Now even The Rumour Mill and SportsWeek are podcasts.

The BBC has rocked as far as digital copies and broadcasting of there content, you can't subscribe to all of it yet but you can to some. They are always getting better.
