We don't need Glen Johnson, he is over-rated, we have Stephen Kelly, Paul Stalteri and Phil Ifil. And to Robert Huth no way, we have all the centre backs we need.
The only players i would be happy with apart from the big players (Terry and Lampard) is either Joe Cole or maybe Wayne Bridge.
They are not going to give us either of them though and please god not Carlton Cole.

I couldn't agree with you more my friend.
Johnson is pathetic! He's not just over-rated, he's bloody useless. Huth is just a big oak who seems to stumble around looking confused all the time.
Cole is not what everyone thought he would have become 2 years ago either. I prefer Edman to Bridge. Many may think I am stupid for saying that, but I just do prefer him.

I hate Johnson sooooo much. I think he's a fairly good player but out of his depth at chelsea. He cost a lot (over £6m) for an 18 year old and of course a lot of expectation comes with that price tag. However, it all seems to have gone to his head (unless he was always that thick) and he plays with the arrogance and temper of someone struggling to live up to his billing. He's an idiot. Some of his sendings off (England U21s for example) have been pathetic and often out of a desire for revenge against a particular player rather than actually trying to help out his team.
On Joe Cole, i have to disagree. The guy is pure footballing gold. An immense talent, the best no.10 England have produced since ??? It's taken him a while to really find his feet but i guarantee he'll starting every competitive england match for the next 7 years. Nice bloke too

Glen Johnson looked a good prospect at West Ham. Think he has struggled at Chelscum. He's the kind of youngster who needs a season or two on loan somewhere, get 30-40 consecutive games under his belt. Then we'll see if he's genuinely good or zhit. Would be a bit unnecessary for us with Kelly, Staltieri and Ifil coming through.
Huth I don't really rate at all, too slow and clumsy, he's not in the same class as Dawson.

Apparently we're demanding Huth, Johnson and £5m
Chelsea are offering Huth, Johnson and £3m
Bye bye Pamarot

From a financial perspective, even a deal with a compromise of 4 million cash and these two would be gold.
Johnson was a 6 million signing, still worth at least 3-4 million as he is right now. Huth is also surely worth around 3 million as well, young German international that he is, a Bundesliga club would snap him up.
That's 10 million for Fwank Arnescum...I'd drive him across to Stamford Bridge myself for that!

I don't reckon we'll reach an agreement, Chelsea are too arrogant for that. We'll report them and hopefully the FA will throw the book at them and we'll take civil action as well as insisting that Fat Frank the Rat spends two years on gardening leave.

....Gardening leave??? Are you being serious? Kenyon was on greenhouse duty, but he was still seen at Abramobitch's home with Sven.
Just watch as Chelsea buy a lot of youngsters from around the globe even though Arsesen is on greenhouse leave.

I'd be happy with Bridge and some money worst case scenario. I have my suspisions though that isn't going to happen. We'll either report them to the FA/PL or ended up getting shafted with Huth and Johnson. Won't hold my breath about which one though.
Really I'd be more than happy with a big lump sum. I'd like to see quality striker come in if Freddi/Keano goes.

If we get £5-6 million from them, expect Johnson to sign within a week. Something tells me he's not the striker you had in mind.

shafted by getting two young international-level players? You're having a laugh, right?
Where is that 2 PM announcement anyway?

No, I'm serious. Maybe you have a point about Johnson(never seen what all the fuss is about personally) but Huth we can do without.

Frank has already started by getting a young player from Grasshoppers.
As for Johnson & Huth we have no need for them, we have depth in the right back and centre back positions.

Does sound like the club gave a firm rejection to the offer of Huth and Johnson from Chelscum. I'm glad as I would much rather have cash than those two, certainly Huth is not as good as Dawson and with all our right backs I do not see the point in getting Johnson when he has looked poor for a year now.
I have heard that Chelscum would get a decent hammering from the FAPL if the complaint is made. 6 point deduction, fine and a transfer embargo.

God, it's like an episode of Crossroads. Probably respond before close of play at the FA. If Levy rejects it we can then file the complaint today.
