I've heard a couple people on BBC5 and elsewhere say our asking for money rather than FA action basically cheapens the game and all that. Chelsea cheapens the game, not us -- follow the rules and/or try to change them if you disagree but don't go break them all wanton and what not. And if people haven't noticed, every now and then money plays a role in football. Pay up or be docked points. Seems fair to me. Think the rule sucks? Fine, get it changed but obey it like the rest of the teams while it is in force or FOAD back to russia.

As for the club asking for compensation - the Premiership chief Richard Scudamore encouraged them to do this, to avoid the negative publicity of a complaint. But if Chelski won't pay the right amount, then this is in our favour, the club can say they tried to make an agreement but Chelski weren't taking negotiations seriously.

not being in the UK I am reliant on the internet for info. and all of the 12+ stories on topspur and elsewhere at this time feature no photos. Again, please post a link to the photos if you got'em.

I'd also like to seperate my previous rant into fans and leadership/owners. I know several good Chelsea fans and begrudge them nothing, well little anyways. My complaint is with the leadership of chelsea, not the fans, they had nothing to do with this. The leadership are just so brazen in trying to defy the rules it really gets me going. It would be one thing if this was a one-off incident, but time after time the leadership of chelsea seem to think they are above the law. They need to pay one way or the other.

Saw the photos of semi-naked Frank looking a bit red and confused following a toe-sucking sesh with the russian pikey. They're so screwed now. I just can't believe they're trying to suggest the meeting was coincidental. Like that ever happens. Spurs thought Frank was holidaying somewhere else, so it must have come as a pleasant surprise to Levy to see the rags this morning.

That he discovered Ronaldo, van Nistelrooy, Robben etc etc. Not being funny, but i could have found them, they're obviously better than your average dutch league player they'd stand out a mile. No, his reputation would have been complete had he stayed with us as his best ever discovery is with us and just beginning his own evolutionary curve to footballing greatness, stardom and immortality.
