And somebody asked me in the old thread about Hockey coming back based on what the Chicago Blackhawks did yesterday. Here's my take:
The Chicago Blackhawks are the only team in all of sport that could conclude that their coach was doing a bad enough job DURING A LOCKOUT, WHEN NO HOCKEY HAS BEEN PLAYED FOR OVER A YEAR, that he needs to be fired.
Chalk that up as another headscratcher from the Windy City....

Sorry, phishy, I haven't been following the Blackhawks contract situation all that closely.
I do know that, if the numbers being thrown around are correct, the Stars will be light a few big players trying to fit things in under the cap.

i think you'd have to include the Sterling family who owns the Clippers as well.
we are fortunate in dallas to have guys who care only about winning:
Jones- Cowboys
Cuban - Mavs
Hicks -- Rangers & Stars (although not so much of late)

Hicks sewed his wallet shut when he realized how bad that ARod contract was. I was hoping he'd sell the Stars to Mark Cuban's partner.
