I'll be going to any concert they do anywhere. I went to the last gig in london at Wembley Arena and it was simply amazing. If this happens, it's big!!

It's strange. I have no qualms with people killing deer or anything else, yet I regularly brake for squirrels and keep the bird & squirrel feeders full so the guys have chow, plus I'm buying a bird bath.
You would think I could care this much about all anaimals... ;)
"We only want to save the cute animals, don't we? Yeah. Why don't we just have animal auditions. Line 'em up one by one and interview them individually. "What are you?" "I'm an otter." "And what do you do?" "I swim around on my back and do cute little human things with my hands." "You're free to go." "And what are you?" "I'm a cow." "Get in the ********ing truck, ok pal!" "But I'm an animal." "You're a baseball glove! Get on that truck!" "I'm an animal, I have rights!" "Yeah, here's yer ********ing cousin, get on the ********ing truck, pal!" We kill the cows to make jackets out of them and then we kill each other for the jackets we made out of the cows."

Corgan hosted the afternoon show yesterday on Q101, the local alternative radio station. I caught the tail end after work, pretty cool dude overall (also went to the same high school as I did :)). I think he's also been a Cubs reporter on one of the other stations. I've heard plenty of stories about his ego, just never seems like he has one when I see him.

i was never a fan of the smashing pumpkins but i am a huge admirer of chamberlins skills (im a drummer too) and i have his solo album..... its so good its untrue.
Just googled chamberlain (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jimmy_Chamberlin) because I couldn't remember if he went to jail after the whole heroin death thingy and found out he was in a band with sebastian bach and kelley deal.... that must've been the wierdest sound ever....

I'm thinking I need some sweet to balance out the salty. Maybe some Ben & Jerry's. Caramel Sutra is divine. It has a "caramel core" which basically means you are able to pick all the caramel out of the middle. Yum!

Can I tangent? Yes, I believe I can in the Off topic...
I loved the pumpkins...one of my favorite bands for sure. In college, I was a college rep for the Pumpkins label...round the "Machina" days....for the release of "Machina" I was asked to work a pumpkins show at UNC (Cat's Cradle). Turns out Melissa Auf de Maur freaked and went awol for a few days. So because a full band Pumpkins show was not possible, Billy did a 2 set solo show (his first solo gig in like 2yrs...)
Not only was the Cradle a cool venue of only 125 cats, Billy's show was INCREDIBLE. did a beautiful "Today" on the piano, James came out...they did a couple songs, of which I can only recall a sick "Drown" (one of my favs)...but that wasn't even the best part. For the encore, Billy pulled fans out of the audience, one guitarist, one drummer, one singer, and a writer. Together, they wrote an improv song....it was about a friend of one of the players who had some injury...they finished the show by all playing a fun "1979".
I remember Billy being very interactive with the crowd, having a great time...if he's an egomaniacal jack ass, he sure wasn't this night. It was one of the most memorable shows I have been to!

exxcellent choice my friend....
and sorry to see the guilty verdict go down....all I can think of is a little song that goes:
"Mr. Breese is concerned, with a thousand dollar question;
Just like Coach, he's a crazy little kid.
He's got the court, you've got the guilty verdict;
Cheer up, Phishy, it's CFC!"
