Soccer Bar Request

Hi all,

Sorry to waste bandwidth, but was hoping someone might be able to help me out.

I'll be in Houston from tomorrow through Friday for work purposes and would love to find a bar that might show the Revolution/Crew match tomorrow (Wednesday) night. I'm staying at the Hilton Westchase ... if that helps.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. The game will be on both the Dish and DirecTV.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. The game will be on both the Dish and DirecTV.I don't know what you can find out around Westchase, but here are some places that I've had luck calling ahead and asking them if they're willing to show a particular soccer game with a specific channel and time.

Downtown: Live Sports Cafe (http://www.livesportscafe.com/)

Rice Village: Brian O'Neill's (http://www.brianoneills.com/)

Northwest Mall (at I-610 & US 290): SRO (http://www.srosportsbar.com/)

These places also show soccer games, but I've never called to see if they're willing to carry a particular game. They're very soccer-friendly and are probably the closest to Westchase.

Thanks for your help. I called and asked two questions, but forgot the most important one prior to getting there (if they had the MLS Direct Kick package).

Oh well, very nice bar and cool place to hang out anyway.

heh I'm new here in houston too, and I called Richmond Arms last night and asked about the MLS Direct Kick package. they said they didn't carry it :( also in the westchase area.
