Great night tonite, I was about to throw in the towel and stay in to watch cable at about 10, when i said hey, a Mai Tai will help me get to sleep sooner so i went down to the bar in the lobby. No single girls down there really, so i drank my Mai Tai, and resigned myself to another lonely night in Paradise. Just as i was about to finish my drink, a very pretty young Blonde walked in to the bar, wearing a white tank top and cutoff jeans. She came and sat down one stool down from me and ordered a Capt and Coke. I immediately ordered another Mai Tai and struck up a friendly conversation. She turned out to be a really sweet Dallas girl, 23 and on vacation with her dad. We hung out till last call at 11:30, and had a great time just talking. I got her number and was about to walk her to the elevator when she suggested a walk on the beach. it sounded like a great idea to me so i put my arm around her and we strolled down to the end of the beach, while watching the moonlight dance on the water. It was really romantic and sweet, we got to the end of the beach and kissed gently but passionately, as the warm Pacific water washed over our feet. I didn't push it too far, as she was the kind of girl i'd really like to see again. Afterwards, I walked her back to her room and kissed her goodnight, but if tomorrow goes as well as i hope, i might have to change my plane ticket to come back on Friday instead of Wednesday. Also, I might have to take a trip out to Big D in the near future. I'm such a hopeless romantic, I'm psyched. :D

Hank "Hey Now!" Kingsley the sidekick on "The Larry Sanders Show" - very much like "I'm Alan Partridge" which I finally caught and indeed enjoyed very much. But "Larry Sanders IS better. Definitely worth renting on DVD....
It's also a drop on The Ticket that they use about 100 times a day...

Yeah, growing up outside NYC, Winfield was definitely the man, and unlike many atheletes, was a class act off the field, too. I've never forgiven Steinbrenner for trying to smear his name when he was with the Yankees.
that, and the trade in 89 to the angels (for Mike effin' Whit) caused me to "Jazz Singer" the Yankees for lack of class and intelligence...I went on strike from the BBombers until I moved here...had to come back like MJ:D
