does anyone on these boards play an instrument? if so we can make the arsenal BS board song.... i can play either drums, bass or guitar (rhythm)
someone do some lyrics, motterman can be some inspiration and provide you with techniques no doubt after his ZANI rap!
I played the tuba in a brass band once. I started playing the piccolo (not sure it's called that in English) flute when I was ten or something, quickly switched to trombone, and finally ended up with the tuba which I played for a couple of years before leaving the band. I certainly wasn't very good at it but the sight of a kid playing an instrument nearly half the size as himself always attracted some attention.

That's it for me tonight. I need to get some sleep before my friends come around in about 10 hours to have a day of drinking beers in the sun, tossing around a frisbee, some barbequing and perhaps a bit of volleyball.

Hank "Hey Now!" Kingsley the sidekick on "The Larry Sanders Show" - very much like "I'm Alan Partridge" which I finally caught and indeed enjoyed very much. But "Larry Sanders IS better. Definitely worth renting on DVD....
BTW I dated a flag girl in the USC Marching Band and spent the summer on campus with her while she and the band trained for the coming football season - does that count? I need a ruling here...

A rainy day in Paradise, but spotted some celebrities at the hotel. Walked past Dave Winfield in the hallway, and swam past Gary Sinise in the pool. Neither one of them recognized me, though. ;)

Dave Winfield is, all time, any sport, my favorite athlete and my "idol" growing up...I was fortunate enough to have father who worked with DW31 on Winnie's Charitable Foundation...so I was able to meet him a few times...

Yeah, growing up outside NYC, Winfield was definitely the man, and unlike many atheletes, was a class act off the field, too. I've never forgiven Steinbrenner for trying to smear his name when he was with the Yankees.
