Man! My back is all spastic tonight and I have knots all around my shoulders and neck. I need a good chiropractor. Hmmm...wonder how to get my insurance to cover that?

Don't go to a fake doctor like that. The woman that cuts my hair went to a chiropractor and he was manipulating her neck and pinched off a major artery to her brain. She had a stroke and had to go to rehab for 6 months. And don't even get my dad started on chiropractors. He resents them because he had to go to real medical school and get a real MD.

Agreed. You want a massage, go to a licensed massage therapist. You have something seriously ********ed up with your back, go to an orthopaedist.

DO, in most states, go through very similar schooling and residencies, just with more of a holistic focus than MDs.

Not on the same level with non-MDs who call themselves Doctors. ;)

yeah i know, but when she told me that in order to treat my mom's diabetes she would do all this joint and muscular crap i couldn't take her seriously. oh well, she's cool and will most likely do well in whatever she pursues, and she knows I'm kidding when I call her a witch doctor.

Sorry, didn't mean to make it sound like I attacked you or anything. I have a few friends who are DOs, who I'd trust with my life in a heartbeat. Good folks. :D

Not that I in any way want to recommend chiropractors but my personal experience with them has been good.

Despite the size of it my nose it isn't worth ******** and it hasn't been for as long as I remember. I spent too many hours as a kid having very bad earaches and I my nose was always running with that very nasty, very thick, and very yellow kind of snot kids excrete when they're having a cold. All kinds of doctors tried to do something about it, and for close to three years I went to see a specialist once a month, but it wasn't untill my mother dragged me along to a chiropractor that things got better. He keept going on about some pinched nerves and then proceeded to do unpleasnt things to me but it somehow seemed to do the trick.

Later it turned out that my nose returned to a snotty state although not nearly as bad and the childhood spent being snotty have robbed me of my sense of smell. All in all I haven't been too lucky when it comes to my nose. I was terrible at riding a bike as a kid and broke my nose a couple of times because I crashed. I've since had two operations to try and straighten my nose but both times something went wrong, so now I'm left with a rather big, runny, bent nose that doesn't even work. Yay me!
