And I am not trying to make light of Cobains issues-its more the irresponsible parent thing that makes me lose respect for him-that taints my picture of him.......
IMHO, that is even more evidence that he was suffering from a mental illness. From what I've read this was something he had been dealing with since childhood and had never received sufficient help. Sure the heroin exacerbated it. In his sick mind, I'm sure he thought he was doing his daughter a favor.
It's just impossible for us to rationalize it because it's impossible to rationalize. (how's that for a tautology?) I just feel sad for everyone involved rather than angry.

And I do not want to make it sound like I am not sympathetic to his illnesses-just feel sorry for all kids who have parents who think their kids would be better off with out them! :(
