With Freddy: 3 wins, 4 losses, 3 ties, 1.3 goals per game
W/o Freddy: 2 wins, 0 losses, 1 tie, 2.0 goals per game

Moreno and Gomez each have two goals with Freddy gone, although Moreno got one from the spot. We've generally looked better and have had more opportunities on goal.

Freddy to the reserves?

Angry torch weilding mob in 3...2...

Nothing is broken at the time being, so I say don't make any changes until it does break down.
(e.g. I agree with you)

gotta play your way back into the rotation. right now, a whole bunch of guys are playing well and freddy ain't here. however i think it is more a case of guys getting into a "groove" (ie. tino) than the subtraction of adu.

Don't fall into the trap of confusing causation with correlation.

Many factors go into our recent improvement in form. It is true that the team is meshing well without Freddy, but some of that is due to improved GK play, a tighter defense (w/ Wilson) and a renewed commitment to attack.

I think Freddy will have a tough time breaking into the lineup when he returns, since he hasn't earned automatic selection yet.

He's been performing like the Messiah for the U20's why isn't Freddy starting for a mid table side like the DC United

Moreno and Gomez each have two goals with Freddy gone, although Moreno got one from the spot. We've generally looked better and have had more opportunities on goal. Clearly we can conclude from this that Moreno and Gomez do in fact hate Freddy and that they only play well when he isn't there.

Is beer served at the reserve matches, and if so, are the prices lower?

no, but for a dollar, K will let you smell her breath from the night before's "after-party". Like a strong apertif, it isn't necessarily pleasant, but you can get a decent buzz  :D

Well TF hasn't polluted this thread yet, but I started a Fred thread on the USMNT forum and TF has already cited Sachin's thread here in his attempt to spew his agenda.

I have no intention of getting involved in this thread. I figure leave it for the DC fans, the friendly lot that they are <g>.
