Welcome back? Uhm, this is Wigan`s first time in the top division, and it`ll be their only season amongst the elite :D

I believe these opening day fixtures to be untrue - a few times this has happened a few days before the fixtures come out.

Pompey at home will do me anyway :D

Away to Wigan on opening day?

I'll put the over/under on arrests at 150.

Doesnt someone always claim to have inside information every year on the fixtures?

Anyone want odds that none of these are the opening day games?

Dead right. There's a "leak" every year and they're never right

It'll be nice to give Everton a slap of reality so early in the season.

You'll have better luck slapping us later in the season, after we get tired. We'll be ready for you on opening day.

Hey if thats true, a Merseyside Derby is a great way to kick off the season. It will be great to hand the Evertonians a dose of reality, and show them who the true class of Merseyside are.

Is there a rhyme/reason to the scheduling or is it random??

I believe it's a random draw as to which games are which match day, then TV gets to decide which games are shown that weekend.

Not gonna happen. These will not be the fixtures.

Not gonna happen. These will not be the fixtures.

If this is indeed the case, then one or two of the games would be moved to Sunday and/or Monday.
