I moved north back to CT this last Dec to get married... and yesterday (Sat) was the happy day.

So we finally got back home today (Sunday) and I got a call from Mike Martin (who was forced to miss a rare home game to attend the festivities, acompanied by his lovely wife Robin [thanks for coming guys]) advising me to check the DCvNE game video at mins 15-17... where the announcers excuse my absence due to me getting married and congratulating Tara and myself!!


I don't know who was personally responsible for this, but I would like to send out my most sincere thanks.
Just goes to show how great all you guys are and how you all care about not only DCU and football but all the fans.

So to the Screaming Eagles and Barra Brava, collectively and individually, Tara and I thank you.

It was Matt and Annette that did it. At the tailgate, they asked me if I knew how to get a message to Dave Johnson. I suggested that they go over to the CSN truck and see what they could do. I heard the message on the replay today, so the suggestion worked.

Hey Marek, congrats to you and Tara for your big occasion! We miss you in the Nest, man. Hope you can make it down for a game sometime.... I saw (on TV) you were at the game in the Swamp, but alas I wasn't able to make that trip...
