last time i was at a USMNT game (columbus, paraguay friendly) I sold my scarf to some drunk guys. Anyway ive wanted it back ever since.
It was the one that said "UNITED STATES" on one side in red with a blue backround and on the other side it said "UNITED STATES" in blue with a red backround. (im sure u all know what im talking about)
anyway now all i can find is those gay "US NATIONAL TEAM" scarfs.
does anyone know where i can find the old version.
thanks

I would stay away from Liam in Chicago.
He's had DCU money for months, scarves for at least a month and now is sitting on both.
Scarves finally arrive in Chicago (http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=197739&page=1)
Another excuse and bulk shipment (http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=205128)
If he doesn't step up quickly, he's going to find himself sitting in a DC court, lien attachments, Paypal issues, etc.

Anyone have an image of the "special" scarf made for the US/ES game a few years back by the supporters up in New England?

I'm not big on national-team scarves but if someone printed up a US-Mexico scarf and it was nice and reasonably priced I'd buy it.
How about blue with "WE ARE THE YANKS" on one side, "MEXICO SUCKS" on the other???

I got the one you're talking about from www.ussoccer.com at their online store. But it doesn't appear they have it there anymore. So I'm not sure what to tell you.

In case anyone's curious, these scarves sold out rather quickly, just FYI.

If anyone has the $$$$ to get a run of 150 scarves done through http://www.sportsscarf.com (who's produced a number of scarves for the Midnight Riders, including the U.S. scarf for the Foxboro WCQ against El Salvador last September), I'd love to see the following done:

I'm in the process of getting pricing.
Should have a US/Mexi scarf ready for purchase in a week or so.
Keep your eyes open.
All proceeds from the purchases will fund tailgate and TIFO for the game.

I don't know Evan. I like the US side, but the "Remember the Alamo" side does nothing for me. I really - really - really like the "Estados Unidos".
Maybe "Remember Jeonju" would be better. :D

I LOVE it. I'd prefer blue with maybe red text, but I'd definitely be in for one of these as well.
Andy, the problem with putting "Estados Unitos" on the other side is that it'd look exactly like the US-ES scarves unless you're 5 feet away and can read the fine print. The "Remember the Alamo" design is really cool and unique (not just the slogan but the Alamo and cannon images), I absolutely love it.

I have some time this week, so let me hash out some other ideas.
I like the Estados Unidos as a reverse option as well, simply because there are any number of Hispanic-American U.S. supporters who've requested as such.

Excellent... I heard something was in the works, and look forward to seeing it.
I'll be good for a few purchases.

"We win when it counts"
"¿Quién es su Papá?"
One thing I really, really like was when the US supporter's section in Salt Lake started chanting "¡Sí, se puede!"

FWIW I would buy one with "Remember the Alamo" but wouldn't buy one with "Estados Unitos", it just doesn't do anything for me and isn't any different from the one from the ES game.

Feel free to post them. We don't have a set design yet for the scarf. Any and all comments and ideas are appreciated.

Well, you're more than welcome to use the above or some variant of it... let me see what I can come up with this week. I'll make sure to create hi-resolution/color-matched versions to scale, so if you did want to use a design, the images would be all ready to go.
If you don't already have a supplier in mind, I'd highly recommend http://www.sportscarf.com. They do a great job, are easy to deal with, and have a lot of experience making scarves for both U.S. Soccer and MLS.
