Thank you Mr Levy. At last we have a TRUE right winger. He has confidence, pace and skill in abundance and will be pushing SWP and Becks for a place in the world cup squad. Spurs are definitely on the rise and with a squad full of young and predominantly British talent

We now need 1 more left winger.

Atouba for me doesn't count!

We have two - Reid and Ziegler. Two right wingers - Lennon & Routledge
Central midfielders - Brown, Mendes, Davis, Tainio, Huddlestone
Forwards - Keane, Defoe, Mido, Kanoute
Left backs - Edman, Atouba
Right backs - Kelly, Stalteri
Centre backs - King, Dawson, Naybet, Davenport, Gardner
Goalkeepers - Robinson, Cerny, Fulop

Our first team squad contains at least 24 players. And that's without promoting any reserve/youth players.

Do we need anyone else? and if so, surely some players will need to leave before others arrive. Our wage bill must be getting rather large

Reto isn't an out-and-out winger. He's a better wing-back.

Reid keeps drifting in.

We need at least 1 out-and-out winger that will take players on from the outside and cross from the touchline.

Brilliant, i'm delighted we have signed Routledge :)

I don't think we will be getting a left winger, i think we will stick with Reid/Ziegler on the left. I would like to see Edman do more overlapping on the left.

...deal is worth up to £2 million.

That is a great deal!

Lennon & Routledge can play on the left, Lennon more so.

From F365.com

Tottenham are continuing their quest to buy every young player in England by finally agreeing a fee with Crystal Palace for England Under-21 international Wayne Routledge. Will they have the biggest squad in the Premiership next season?

We would have one of the biggest squads but definitely the youngest.

Well now he is a Yid I suppose I should give him a chance. He has everything I am looking for in a wide man, pace, good control and potential. def needs to work on his crossing mind you.

Great to finally get Roultedge. He looked very good for Palace last year, hopefully it carries over.

Crossing for Andy Johnson to get his head to would be a tough job for David Beckham ;) Crossing to Mido is another story, all he has to do is stand it up for Mido to attack.

Ugh. HE CAN'T CROSS THE BALL.

Hurrah! He's young enough to learn!

Best signing ever!

As I said in another thread he was a 19 year old with an abundance of pace and skill, and he was beating lots of EPL defenders with ease.

If all he can't do is cross we are going to have a hell of a player in a few years. Crossing is probably one of the easiest skills for a winger to develop, its a lot easier than beating a man.

Welcome to Spurs Wayne!

19 and I saw him shine for Palace on a couple occasions and show his true talent, and I saw him disappear from the pitch and sulk and competely lose his game face on a couple other occasions, but hes 19 and that happens.

Give 100% every game and you'll be a star pushing Spurs into Europe and playing in Germany next summer.

I'm excited about Lennon as well -- 2 potentially great sigings in the course of a couple days, in fact I love every signing we've made minus Atouba in the past year and considering what we payed for him we've got our moneys worth already.

Could someone at Spurs please do something to restore my jaded support of Spurs? ;)

For the other fans of other teams who think we'll end up mid or lower table are having a laugh. If we can get one more signing and again I would like to see a Malbranque, Rosicky or D'alessandro signed I will be very expectant of top 6.

Read on BBC football, that again Andres agent is hinting at a move to England, and that they had never talked w/Tottenham it was all papertalk.

The future is bright and it now looks like it is white with blue sleeves!
