Seeing as how most of us renewed our Red/Silver/whatever membership we had, I was wondering if anyone else had been billed. I noticed it on my statement today and instead of a 30pound charge, it was 33. Curious if anyone else noticed it, or if it was a screwup by either my credit card company or the Arsenal.

I dont' know what exactly happened with your renewal but I do know that I was charged 19 GBP. And by the way, the card arrived last Friday.

Could it be an international transaction fee by your credit card company?

How'd SLO get charged only 19 quid?

Could it be an international transaction fee by your credit card company?
I don't think so, because they have one of those listed seperately for a Arse online purchase I made later on (which Arsenal conveniently billed me for twice!)

n.,

I renewed online and IIRC the renewal was 11 Pounds which came out to be 19 when you included the shipping/handling. I thought it was supposed to be 30 GBP if you were joining as a new member, not renewing.

I got my card in the mail yesterday and it did say the membership pack would be sent in August.

You can still sign up online through arsenal.

They mention a website for members, I haven't looked out there - is that something that's being developed or done? If I have a password, I will never remember it.

I worked from home today because a Banana truck crashed on the 5 north just out of San Diego. No way for me to get there, so logging in from home today.

My membership package arrive today. The information yesterday said not until August, but it's here.

The cool thing is now I can have Nick Hornby sign my commemorative members only copy of Fever Pitch. That makes my day.

It comes in a nice little metal case. The images book is awesome, the mouse pad is cool and the pin is nice. I haven't thrown on the DVD yet.

You guys will like it. For those who haven't signed up, go to www.arsenal.com and sign up

I'm watching the DVD now and the first thing on it is a film Arsenal Stadium Mystery It's pretty funny to watch this ld film. Looking at the stands back when there were no seats just everyone standing. It's pretty cool to see the sites as they were of the stadium and a lot of it was filmed in the halls of the stadium as well. The movie has been a bit cheesy, but fun to watch. I like at halftime when they are sitting around their locker room drinking tea. No power drinks or anything like that. The movie is from 1939.

Well more about some of the other features later.

Has anyone else received it yet?

No, just got the membership card in the mail today. I'm definitely looking forward to this pack though, as my copy of "Fever Pitch" is back in the States and probably packed already. However, if it's like the last time, it will come here the day I leave to go back to the States.

Mine arrived yesterday. The hardcover book is very well done and I wish Hornby would come north to sign my FP book. I just chaptered through the DVD, but will watch it on the weekend when the footy is generally on.

Like I said Nick, they need the money for Cashburton Grove. Give them the dough and be happy! Plus I told you, you're Chelsea in disguise anyway!
