Just about to leave for the day and England are 116 without loss after 14 overs in reply to Bangladesh's 190 all out. Looks like another comfortable win. I'd better get to the pub quick or I''ll miss the winning shot!

funny, i left for work this morning about 5-10 minutes before your post and they had 17 runs with no outs at the 3rd over. i was following it on the live tracker at cricinfo and thinking, hey not too bad of a start for them (bang).
the fall of the wickets-
1-19 (Javed Omar, 3.5 ov), 2-19 (Mohammad Ashraful, 3.6 ov),
3-39 (Nafees Iqbal, 9.3 ov), 4-57 (Tushar Imran, 14.6 ov),
5-72 (Habibul Bashar, 18.1 ov), 6-76 (Khaled Mashud, 20.3 ov),
7-152 (Mohammad Rafique, 36.4 ov), 8-159 (Aftab Ahmed, 37.5 ov),
9-159 (Khaled Mahmud, 37.6 ov), 10-190 (Nazmul Hossain, 45.2 ov).

did you make it :) ?
my thoughts on the match-
191 runs for the bangers, not too bad for them, especially against a red-hot English team
Bangers went 45.2 overs, not too bad again, almost were able to go the full 50 against the world #2
my bangladesh MVP goes to Ahmed- 51 runs off 58 balls, 4- 4 's and 2- 6's
great opening partnership for england (teamates might a bit angry for not getting a chance!)
4's galore- 26 total for the 2 englishmen
congrats to trescothick and strauss getting the win in only 24.5 overs
so will the aussies take out some anger on saturday? if they win the toss, i'd say they will bat first, look to pile on the runs and bowl bang out in a record pace to try and boost their confidence.
btw, off topic, but does anyone know of an audio link to the series?

I did make it! :) Yeah, not bad from Bangladesh, batting most of their overs. I saw a good bit of the test matches and they were getting themselves out with some silly shots. Maybe the coach has had a word and they are knuckling down a bit. Trescothick and Strauss were really laying into the bowling and there didn't seem to be many scares while they polished off the required runs.

well, they did bat first, but i don't think it did anything to help the aussie confidence
australia 249-5 off 50
bangladesh 250-5 off 49.2
oh dear, oh dear oh dear :D
still, better wait to see what happens tomorrow before i start gloating too much - should be a good match!

Bangladesh 250 for 5 (Ashraful 100, Bashar 46) beat Australia 249 for 5 (Martyn 77, Clarke 54, Baisya 3-69) by five wickets
-Asraful century makes him only the scond in Bang history to get one
-Bang needed 73 runs from the last 10 overs
-needed 7 from the last over, first ball a six, then a single to win
-aussies started 9 for 2
-Symonds didn't play, "was left out of this match just before the toss for a disciplinary matter"

This is terrible. The loss to Somerset, and now this. Looks like this might be a very interesting series.

A poor performance all round from Australia, I hope they take that form into today's game!

Australia just completed its 50 overs just moments ago, and were 9-252.

I'm listening online at BBC and "Don't Look Back in Anger" was on when Vaughn was walking off after getting the sticks knocked down. I couldn't help laughing.

A win by three wickets, sounds a good knock from Pietersen.

pretty amazing innings, 91* off 65 balls - in particular he took gillespie apart, a couple of massive sixes over long on, and a particularly nice 4 back over his head off a yorker.
bit worrying for england that only he and vaughn scored any runs after everyone in the top order got a start. need to build partnerships better than that.

Hehehehehe, the World Champion Australia - best side in the world are falling apart! What happened here? All other cricket playing nations of the world are rejoicing! Everyone dance and merry while the king has fallen down.
Couldn't beat Bangladesh? It's almost like Brasil losing to Canada in football. :D

this is definitely crazy. i can't believe it, honestly. i was following the match on the live tracker at cricinfo. when i got home i got to watch the highlights on skysports and that was some catch by collingwood.
interesting to hear ponting say he saw improvement in the team- their bowlers got hit hard again, and they only managed 252-9. Ponting himself has been terrible, golden ducked. Hussey and Clarke seem to be the only consistent batters.
the Banger-England game is next- will it be close? Lets hope for the next aussie game Symonds will have all his partying done and he can help power them to a big win.
