The 4-3-3 was a huge cop out....Mainly to fill more attacking places up...

I dunno, it says (Soc) next to his name. Maybe it's a typo on Channel 4's part.

Monterrubio is rubbish. I saw two Rennes matches this year (granted that is not much) but he missed at least 3 sitters in front of goal. He was horrid.
I saw much more of the guy when he was at Nantes, and impressed I was not. Long winding runs and poor crosses. He also complains an inordinate amount of the time.

I never saw him play much, but I had a favorable opinion of Monterrubio. He was even linked with Toulouse in January. Wouldn't mind seeing him join us at all.

Waht the hell you guys talking about. Monterrubio is a good player.

But why is Jeremy Mathieu LB? I know he played there as emergency left-defender and that's cause he's such wonderful player and such teamplayer and versatile, he'll fill any role for you but to name him as league's DL is weird considering his main position is in midfield.

OMG.... Randy i was hoping you were talking about another Mathieu but now just found out Sochaux has offloaded their star player to you guys as well..??? why? I don't understand.

Trust me I know ligue 1 perfectly despite not being French and though Toulouse are big club, Sochaux aren't much smaller yeah maybe interms of fans and such but they finish much better in recent years. But Santos didn't want to renew contract and moved but what happened with Mathieu??

why did they sell him, ? how much and WHY did he leave lol.. this comes as a shock to me!

I'm not sure the old coach got it either. He was probably fired because of the Mathieu sale.
I'm just speculating, but since he got fired in training camp it had to be something off the field.

Because they have an ambitious owner and not every team has one of those.

Because he's a bright young prospect who a lot of big clubs have been chasing after. Toulouse were lucky to get him because he's been linked with Manchester United and Lyon in the past.

Good for toulouse then and Big thumbs down to Sochaux who'ev finished higher than Toulouse in previous years often and established themselves as although a small but mid-table club or often even after a uefa Cup spot. Yet their chairman is obviously an unambitious person and well it sucks supporting Sochaux then hahaha.

Good for Toulouse I guess. The guy is very good. Works like a HORSE too.. never stops.
